Will a 20 x 0.001 GRAM scale be accurate for weighing powders
That weigh around 1-20mgs?
(This scale (http://cgi.ebay.ca/20-x-0-001-GRAM-DIGITAL-DIAMOND-JEWELRY-POCKET-SCALE-SD_W0QQitemZ150295340892QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_0?hash=item150295340892&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318#ShippingPayment))

Dude, you just answered your own question...
Measures in increments of .001g = 1mg
Fine for RCs and such. (although I can't comment on the quality of the scale. Usually you get what you pay for, and decent milligram scales will run you a few grand)

Re: Will a 20 x 0.001 GRAM scale be accurate for weighing powders
Unless you are measuring pure LSD crystals (lulz) or some other drug active in micrograms, that scale will be fine for measuring just about any drug. Although at that price, you should expect some very small discrepancies in accuracy.

Re: Will a 20 x 0.001 GRAM scale be accurate for weighing powders
i was wondering (and would rather not make another thread) if a .01, 10mg scale, like this one; http://www.ktbotanicals.com/glass-scale-100g-x-01g-10mg-accuracy-p-7330.html?zenid=2682d0b57925a5ea68bd139e9dc7ab7d
would work for say, 'measuring certain phenethylamines?'

^NO.
There are .002 g scales available for under 200 dollars that are fine for that though.

Unless you're doing large quantities, a scale like that is not good for powders of any kind.

but.. why? it measures down to 10mg, which, would be a low-dose for say, 2c-i.

Re: Will a 20 x 0.001 GRAM scale be accurate for weighing powders
That scale looks similair to the black one on ebay which I have used and is accurate enough to weigh around 20mgs but trying to weigh anything under 15mg is questionable and I always dropped a few times to check and I figured it was almost always off +/- 2-3mg.
It's good enough and the price is right :)

Re: Will a 20 x 0.001 GRAM scale be accurate for weighing powders
I'd be dubious about the price.
And what does the 20 mean? From the picture it doesn't look like enough zeros, but what do I know.
