I've smoked about a pack a day since I was 13 (I'm 18) and I finally decided that I wanted to stop. Tried cold turkey, didn't work. So my doctor prescribed me a drug called Chantix.

I'm on my second week and so far I haven't touched a cig and I don't have any desire to touch them really.

I have two questions.
Has anyone on the forum tried Chantix?

I was invited to a rave somewhere out in the desert and my friend got some ecstasy for us. Has anyone tried taking other drugs while on Chantix? I'm really nervous about doing it... latley there have been horrible suicide reports because of Chantix and a lot of people having weird hallucinations. I have had none of these yet... I've just been a little more depressed than usual and have extremely unusual dreams.

I really do want to take the E, but I'm a little nervous about the interactions, I have done E 3 times before so I know what to expect I'm just worried about the interactions.

I've already smoked weed on chantix.. although my high is a little different than before and I get a little anxious.... (I'm very good at mentally calming myself) I haven't noticed any bad effects

If anyone has any information or suggestions I'd appreciate it.

depending on the quality of the roll could make all the difference in the world. Are they just generic grade pills? I mean you could try a half dose and take 1.5 doses next week if everything checks out.

Just wait. I don't know anything about Chantix, but can't you ween yourself off the stuff over the next month or two? Its really not that long to wait.

Generally I don't go to pharms to solve problems. Cig's were the only thing I've needed a little extra kick on. The wd's are worse than when I quit my 3 year benzo addiction cold turky.

Anyways after reading more about the chantix I think I'm going to stop taking it and go cold turkey again. Haven't had a smoke in a week and I didn't dose today and I feel fine.

I'm taking the E tomorrow, I'll report back. Although I'm going to want a cig on E... as long as I don't get the physical cravings the psychological craving is easy for me to deal with.

edit: would take some E tonight but all my friends have work in the morning and rolling by myself is no fun.
