This is quite Thompson-esk but I am taking a road trip with 3 other people for 3 to 4 weeks and we are all college casual drug users. The inventory of substances I want to bring include:
Half a pound of the danky dank
20+ tabs of acid
3 ounces of shrooms
Quarter ounce of smack
An awesome assortment of pills (opiates, benzos)
Nitrous, a lot of it
20ish rolls of that new Bart Simpson shaped e. That shit is rediculous

Anything I'm missing? Tips? Has anyone done something like this before?
Most Importantly, We are going to be on the road between 3 and 4 weeks, does anyone have good destinations to stop at?

Have a sober designated driver unless you plan on skipping huge swatches of hick country. And even then it just takes one search from an overzelous cop and you're all going away for quite a while.

Bring more drugs and compile them all into one badass black suitcase. Then be sure to bring at least one Samoan lawyer and your fucking set.

Sounds like a real dumb idea. Too many drugs to get caught with.

1. Drop all the other drugs and travel with lots of LSD.

2. Go to lots of music festivals and concerts. Sell said LSD for traveling money and festival/concert money.

3. Buy desired drugs at festivals/concerts. Do most of drugs there. Leave with minimal amounts, EXCEPT - Buy moar LSD for the road.

4. Rinse/repeat.

Road tripping for dummies. It's pretty hard to fuck this up.

And yes, I've done 'something like this'. Summer of '07 I was on the road for 2 1/2 months, and the year before that from March until early September.

sounds like a plan! a little risky, but everything comes with a price so take your chances and have fun. but seriously, whoevers driving should be as sober as possible because if your pulled over, your gonna need someone who can talk his way through cops. id say make some kind of false compartment in a clever place, something very hard to find for an outside observer, but easily accesable for you.

good luck man, and you dont need to be fucked up 24/7....sometimes you can learn alot just by observing everything around you.

Bring vitamins, omega-3's, 5-htp, etc.

Drive as large a vehicle as possible.

Bring lots of water.

Bring toilet paper.

If you are driving a large vehicle or an RV, bring some paint. Paint it while you're all fucked up.

Make up a cover story. Like the Maxim Road Trip Contest from a few years ago. Or you've always wanted to see the grand canyon. Or you're conducting research.

If you are willing to take the risk, record everything. Write it down, record the audio, video tape shit, take pictures ... just document it somehow. For us.

While doing all this, try and discover if there is any reason behind your motivation to do this or if there is any reason for anything at all. Discover what life is about and then spread that message across the country.

If at all possible: meet people, take people along with you, make connections and distribute powerful psychedelics amongst the masses everywhere.

On the interstate highways(especially in hick states) the state highway patrol have K-9 units actively looking for people trafficking drugs across state lines, and while that isn't exactly what you are doing they will bust your ass all the same. I've seen them before searching people's cars in Kentucky and Tennessee. The idea of a road trip like this sounds like lots of fun, but having seen that I'd be really sketched out about it. Well, legally probably, but I was thinking more along the lines of trafficking with intent for sale/distribution. But you raise a very valid point, I have a feeling the law as it reguards to this doesn't give a shit what the drugs are for or how much you have they will fuck you hard for a half-8th I bet.

Yeah i know what you meant. I raised that point because I saw one of those episodes of generic police video shows. There were 2 girls that were caught in nevada on their way to cali. The cop smelled the smoke and found a small bag of weed. He was going to give then a break and give them a carrying/trafficking(something along those lines) drugs across states lines charge which was a simple misdemeanor and was better than gettng a felony for posession(nevadas law) and then the cop found a gallon bag full and he then said "deals off your going to jail" he was going to let them go with the misdemeanor but he asked if there was anything else in the car and they said no, well there was and they went to jail because of it.

If you are carrying anything like that amount you DONT smoke in the car. Also the cop saw a 420 sticker and after he pulled the driver out he went back to the passenger and she had tried to cover it up.

But I think it was some real skunky bud and it should have been sealed up and vacumm sealed, then washed really good. Then taken to another location free of ANY residue and then sealed one more time with a new seale that has never sealed weed. Becaue it seemed the officer smelled more that just some smoked weed. After they gave up the small bag he was going to cut them a break.He cut them that deal that they would get a misdeamnor ticket and get to drive away. then he kept asking are you SURE there is nothing else in the car. Yes, you need at least some sort of speed for driving and such. Other then that though, you guys are fucking set.

Yeah the only speed type drug we will have is e. no coke no amphet. those arent long term car ride drugs.
We are going to have it so while four people are fucked up or sleeping, the driver will be at most stoned. The driver won't be fucked up at all besides weed.

I've never taken them but they have been tested to be piperazines. I know stamps don't mean much but in this case I would argue that they do because the pill is so unique and reports all over the country all say they're garbage.

I have always wanted to do something along these lines, preferably over the course of an entire month or so. The problem I always ran into though was the procurement of the drugs in cities of I knew nothing about. I am hesitant to carry a month's supply of psychoactives for obvious reasons, so it would be necessary to restock periodically.

If you do go through with this, then i would take extra care to hide all your contraband so as to be prepared in the unfortunate event of a highway stop. That said, weed is probably your biggest problem; as essential as it is, the stuff fucking reeks and is probably responsible for the vast majority of druggies getting busted.

The idea about hitting music festivals and selling acid strikes me as interesting though. Might also be possible to hit up a bunch of different college campuses too, as most I've seen are starving for lsd and other rarer drugs. Additionally a college could serve as a decent place to re-up on weed and other basics.

You see back in the days of fear and loathing (a somewhat FICTIONAL story) and Hunter S Thompson, restrictions and knowledge of drugs was a lot less. This is a really really stupid idea, I don't think you will get too far with it before you wind up in prison for a very long time.

What are you going to do in the very likely event that you get pulled over? You cant hide 4 tripped out teenagers and a very stoned driver with an ass load of drugs very well. What happens when you rotate drivers? Someone whos just come down is still unfit to drive safelly and judging by the drugs you are taking even if they have comedown to the point of being remotely competent they are still going to be showing obvious physical signs of recent drug use which doesnt bode well when you inevitably get pulled over.

Oh and if you do go through with this take a shovel and be prepared to have to bury one or more of your friends in the woods because with the combos your talking over a prolonged period of time an OD is almost inevitable.
