I never smoke hookah on my own. It always me and someone else, or two other people. I'm looking for something so me and a couple guys at my uni can go out, find a picnic bench, set the thing up, and just smoke a little.

Ideally it will have three hoses, but two is alright I suppose.

I don't want something that's massive because we have to carry it outside and walk a little bit.

I'm not really picky about style. Though I do think this style is really cool.

I'm also a cheap mother fucker.

What places have you bought from? What are the best websites? Any recommendations from personal experience?

Judging from your post, you dont know shit about good hookahs.

Strictly speaking of the hardware(not including the base).

You should look for things like: Metal composition of : the valves and down-stem, tower(brass, stainless steal , ect.)

Look for wide hose ports like those found on Kali M. Hookhas.
KM used to be the rave, but frankly, i don't find that the quality is as good as it used to be.
Stainless steal parts still corrode, particularly things like the "down stem".
Proper care and cleaning of your hookah is vital to good service.

Look for good, weld work.

Double hose hookhas are quite tricky, and leave more room for imperfect work.
Not to mention the decreased quality of smoke(tends to sour faster, if 2 people smoke).

Chinese manufactured hookhas like you show in your links have increased in quality within the last 10 years, but in my opinion still are not up-to-par with say a genuine KM hookah.

You should aim to spend a minimum of 100$ for a quality hookha.

Or else you are just throwing money way, its a crappy 50$ waste, which you will end up using ~4-5 times, and then either something will break, leak, or corrode.

Don't get a multi-hose hookah - they just end up with everyone sucking like whores trying to get a decent amount of smoke. Instead, get a good quality one with a rotating hose - much better for a group of people cos it can be passed around easily without the hose getting awkwardly positioned.

I've heard bad things about rotators. Like they are more prone to leaking and have a tendency to fall over.

I've never smoked a single hose hookah, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But from my experience, having two hoses isn't that bad and people don't end "sucking like whores"

Base is hand blown glass and shaft is SS.

Also comes with a lot of extras, which is good because I'm starting with nothing.

My hookah looks a lot like the one in your link. I bought it used for a dime bag. Also, if you like the way that hookah from ebay looks, buy it, it is a very good price.
