Long story short -
Arrested for 3 burglaries (Via Rats)
Sentenced to 200 weekends in jail, 10 years probation, ordered to return some jewelry I had hidden.


Well I talked to my lawyer and he reduced the weekends in jail from 200 to 20.


Moral of the story - Never get caught but if you do get a good lawyer.

That's the thing with a lot of criminals, as soon as they get cash they spend it. I've always thought to myself that if I need to scrap certain ops then it would have all been for nothing in the end; so the moral is always save cash. Obviously spend some of it and enjoy it, but not all of it.

I'm lucky to have a good lawyer too.

This is why I am going to follow my dream and go to Law School.

So wait, you just show up each weekend and sit around in jail? Then Sunday night you go home?

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Jail should be about keeping dangerous people off the streets, not punishing them a couple times a week.

The problem is many people with law degrees end up becoming nothing more then glorified secretaries. Enjoy helping people fill out wills, settling divorce disputes, and running around gathering papers for people more important then you.

I would become a lawyer, but the risk of becoming a worthless nobody is too great for me to chance.

Sounds pretty kickass to me.

better than staying there for weedays and being bored outta your mind and watching tv

Show up Friday at 6PM get out Sunday at 3PM. They give people it so that they can continue going to school/work.
