Recommend good webpage making software
I've only ever made a webpage using frontpage years ago and got it online so I need software that is user friendly, can anyone recommend me one? I am willing to put a decent amount of work into it so it doesn't need to be overly simple.

Dreamweaver is pretty user-friendly, although the comparatively high price might put you off. Not that that's an issue for most people here of course.
Frontpage really is awful IMO...

Dreamweaver is great for both coding and website development, but it isn't free.
In fact I just searched and couldn't find very many free apps at all, so I guess your stuck to obtaining dreamweaver somehow...

Re: Recommend good webpage making software
Nvu! (or kompozer if you're on Linux)
Pretty sweet little program (also free and open source)
Does some nice auto formatting. Also, if you type in something like <body bg color="white"> it automatically changes it to <body style="background-color : #FFFFFF;">
Little things like that make it great
I do, however, hate the way it formats CSS files. I use Notepad++ for that.
Seriously, go download Notepad++ right now. It has tabbed files (so does Nvu). Line numbers, format coloring. Its great.
Last version of dreamweaver I used was MX, I think that was before it was bought by adobe (right?). It didn't like it then, but maybe its better now that adobe took over.

I was recommended notepad++ for opening very large text documents. Great free software everyone should have. It could be useful for websites but I've never tried it for that.

THIS!! I LOVE NOTEPAD++!
For making web pages though I recommend Dreamweaver. It's rather expensive but... not if you download uTorrent...
