Last week I started reading this book I found online. At first I didn't even know that there was a sexual/erotic element to it, and when the story started to drift into territory that I was rather uncomfortable with, I kept reading, because it was otherwise rather good.

Anyway, for the longest time I've found the whole thought of degradation and domination and S&M and such to be distasteful to say the least. But since I try to be honest with myself, once I stopped actively avoiding the concept, I realized that I find it rather exciting.

This freaks me out a bit. Ok, more than a bit. I have enough trouble finding any woman, let alone one that's willing to tie me up and give me a good natured beating. Let alone whatever other undiscovered kinks I may have.

And yes, I realize some of this may only sound good in theory. However, on one or two occasions in the past couple years I've been on the receiving end of an entirely too short and unsatisfactory whipping, so this isn't entirely without basis either.

No real questions, but I needed to get it off my chest, and writing it down helps to clarify my thoughts on the situation. Any input is appreciated though.
