yeah i know the whole mental instability issues that can come up after this but honestly jack, i tried very enthusiastically to get the morning after pill but she just completely denied any notion of being pregnant until i forced her to take a PT and confirmed my suspicions.

so if shes got any problems down the road shed better not be crying on my door about how she regrets getting it because that would have been the dumbest decision for her to make at this point. (mainly because im moving 15 hours away in a month and a half.)

It doesn't matter that having the baby would have been the stupidest idea possible for whatever reason, that baby was a living thing inside of her and would have probably sent her hormones and mothering instincts haywire. No amount of codeine or realising it's stupid will stop the hurt if she's affected by it now or later on. IF she's affected. I imagine it would be quite a mentally damaging thing, so show some compassion if "she comes crying on your door"

I guess my views on abortion are skewed, since we had briefly considered it but now have an absolutely perfect baby.

I always thought it was a perfectly plausable option, but from seeing first-hand a woman go through pregnancy, I can only imagine the emotional turmoil she must be facing... be there for her.

Who brags about an abortion? I'd assume the guys who tried to convince the girls to get one. Okay, look at all the people in shit hole countries around the world having kids. People in poor african countries are still popping out kids when they can't even feed themselves. All it was was a few clusters of cells pretty much. My super pro-life grandma sent me a video of an abortion being performed, I watched that video while eating a nice steak dinner. People always will rationalize their pro-life decisions after the fact. Once you see a child running around its hard to think of killing them, thats pretty fucked up. Of course any mother will not say I wish I woulda had my son/daughter aborted. Unless you are very well off financially, then you absolutely made the right decision. There are so many people who pop out kids in this country to just let them become a victim of the cycle, often ending in jail.
