Female to male gender transfers
You always hear about men who switch over into 'being female', but you don't often come across the reverse.
Do you think there is an attraction to being female which men are deprived of, so do not want to change? I don't really know about this, it's the sort of thing only a person that passionately wants to change genders will know about, but we can speculate, in a sort-of-informed manner.
All the transsexuals I have ever met have been male to female. Has anyone met female to male transgendered people? What do you think is so alluring about becoming female, is it the makeup and clothes?

Re: Female to male gender transfers
F2M transsexuals do exist, although (as far as I know) I've not been introduced to anyone who was.
Yeah, it does seem like there are more M2F transsexuals. It also seems to me that there are more homosexual men than homosexual women. No idea on the real numbers of either, though.

Re: Female to male gender transfers
The transfers were done because they felt more comfortable as the opposite sex. No one knows why, really, not even the psychs that evaluate them before they get it done. What IS known, is that they'd be happier as the other. They could want to be pretty, wear makeup and skirts in public, want the attention that is unique to women and just..
Uhg. Nevermind, I guess.

Re: Female to male gender transfers
Attention, being more feminine ( Attractive, in my opinion ). They could feel emotionally as a woman. They might have sensitivity like one. Personally, as a guy not wanting to be a woman, i think they want to actually be a female aswell as emotionally feel like one. A lot of it has to do with what they think is the solution ( to whatever made them decide in the first place ) in their heads.

I've gone over it in my head enough...And for me the line stops as women's clothing etc...
A man and his penis should never part.
Ever.
As for F>M, surely it's just the other way round...They'd feel happier being male and seek it out.

Did you see some not too distant thread where I posted about Maryn Cadell? Now Marvin & out of the music business & a prof at UBC in Van? If you check her vids she is kind of chunky & short haired.
Easy to find lots of mothers, who at time she made her vids, make her look like a she was a beauty queen. I kind of miss her music persona. She likely makes a better living as a Prof though.

Yeah. That it's possible to surgically fashion a vagina is impressive, but I have no idea how you could recreate male genitals.
You'd probably just get stuck with a double mastectomy, maybe reshaping the forehead and jawline... But that's barely a reassignment.

It seems there is alot more to be done to 'change into a man'. Jaws, getting breasts removed, and 'adding' things... I can't work out how they'd 'make' genitals

Because no woman could ever fully understand the concepts of strength, honor, and respect that make a real man.
For a woman, sex is power. For a man, sex is just an action.
For a woman, complaining gets you sympathy. For a man, complaining gets you annoyance.
For a woman, showing weakness gets you attention and affection. For a man, showing weakness gets you disrespect.
I'm not saying I like it that way, but it's pretty obvious which sex has an easier life.

It's pretty obvious when all you can see is your side.
I think it may just be that a woman can more easily be masculine than a man can be feminine, in western society.
Like, women can wear pants and ties and tuxes, even stuff like work uniforms, and sometimes even look good doing it. Western society is quite masculine in what it respects, and so a woman who cuts her hair short and wears pants manly isnt even out of the norm anyways.
But a man wearing makeup, growing his hair out long, and generally acting feminine is looked down on.

No, its true. If you disagree, then give some examples like this guy did

That just the fem nazis demanding that they get all of the benefits of being male and female.

Because fem nazis are the only women who wear pants, no makeup, and have short hair..?
I do disagree, but is a pointless argument because things are different from each side, each gender has their own issues.
I will point out though, that women have a higher suicide attempt rate than men. Men statistically have a higher chance of dying when attempting, but more women attempt.

Can the counter-examples be complete bullshit, like the ones that HARDMAN made?
I don't think sex is "just an action" for anyone. And both men and women play power games around sex.
"For a woman, complaining gets you sympathy." or being called a bitch. Cuts both ways. As, in fact, it does for men.
This is the only one that makes any real sense: "For a woman, showing weakness gets you attention and affection. For a man, showing weakness gets you disrespect." - but I think this has more to do with the way that men and women percieve their OWN "weakness".

Yes because women are technologically challenged by complex things like razor blades, pills and whiskey...
Ever wondered why women almost never swallow a gun?
Watch a woman try and program a washing machine sometime and you'll get the answer.

Yeah, because the fact that you used to be a guy (not that easy to hide) just thrills people.
You've got to be pretty damn certian that you were born into the wrong gender to go through with this.

I know, I've done alot of research on suicide rates, ect ect. psych class, yay.
I was just pointing out, that more women do -try-. If women have it so much easier than men, why do so many of them want to die?

This. Whether or not it's easier to be a woman than a man, it's got to be harder to be a woman-who-used-to-be-a-man than either.

Re: Female to male gender transfers
Regarding the suicide issue. Women are 4x more likely to attempt suicide. Men are 4x more likely to succeed.
Mainly this is because when men try it, they tend to really mean it. Also, women are more likely to use hanging, pills, or cutting themselves in the tub. Part of the reason for this is that these are far less messy than a gunshot. But these methods are easier to interrupt and recover from.

It goes like this:
*phone rings, HE answers. Its his girlfriend/wife/mistress.*
Her: "Hon, this silly gun just WON'T work!"
Him: "Huh..uh....uhmmm...wh-wh-what gun??!"
Her: "The stupid gun you keep in your stupid drawer. Its BROKEN and its your fault!"
Him: "w-w-why have you got my gun?"
Her: "STOP MAKING EXCUSES! Tell me why it won't work! I pull the triggery thing AND NOTHING HAPPENS!"
Him: "Have you taken the safety off? Did you put in the mag?"
Her:"What mag...? You mean like "Women's Weekly"???
Him: "Noooo the other metal thing in the drawer, sorta flat box thing"
Her: "Oh that! I thought that was for your shaver. Why didn't you tell me that was for your gun! You really never do tell me ANYTHING! How should I know what all the bits of metal in your drawers are for???! YOU ARE SO UNREASONABLE! "
Shall I continue? Get the picture?

Pssh, those women are just stupid, all you need is a vehicle, preferably with the catalytic converter cut out, a hose for running exhaust out of a shop, and a secluded area. Maybe some OTC sleeping aids for comfort sake.

You see...thing about secluded spots is that they ain't never secluded enough. There's always a friendly neighbourhood rapist, the courting couples, nature freaks, bird spotting 'anoraks' or the Major taking his dog for a walk.

Wow jackketch, you seem to have a low opinion of a woman's ability to handle a gun. I know plenty of women who not only know how to handle a gun, but are quite fond of hunting. My grandmother was actually involved in competitive shooting for 30 years, and won a number of competitions.

Re: Female to male gender transfers
Ok not getting involved in the suicide thing..... but someone asked earlier how they can create a cock for a F==>M.
I have no idea how true this is..... because I saw it on tv. But what they said was that they cut a rectangle of flesh/fat and skin from the woman's thigh or stomach.... then they roll it up and stitch it up. Hey Presto instant cock! They put a tube down it for peeing (apparently it takes quite a while to get used to this and control it so they will most probably piss themselves for a good long time) and they sew it on. At this point it's pretty much decorative (Which it fails at because it looks nothing like a real penis lol) but if you actually want to put it to good use then they have to fit some kind of metal contraption in it, that has a switch and when you flick the switch it makes your new fake tool a bit bigger and erect. I'm not convinced by this at all really..... because I think even if the contraption made it erect.... it's still essencially made of rolled up fat.... so it's not going to be very hard is it? Well whatever... that's what the tv told me they do lol.
The whole process of gender change takes ages though (In britain anyway) like they make women take hormone tablets to make them grow facial hair and deepen their voices.... and make them attempt to live as a man for like 18 months before they even agree to cut their boobs off let alone make them a penis. I don't know why anyone would do it..... because like they are going to be walking around for 18 months with a pair of tits AND a beard like a circus freak or something.... who would want that amount of ridicule?

Re: Female to male gender transfers
I saw something on the news recently about a F>M transgender than got pregnant! Apparently she was living as a man but never got the operation done to make her a penis (however one would do that). And then for some very strange reason she wanted a kid... It was the weirdest fuckin shit I've ever seen. She looked exactly like a dude with a beer gut, except he/she/it was pregnant.
IDK what to make of that shit, maybe women really can't ever fully deal with being a man or something.
On another note, one of the first dates between my girlfriend and I was to the local armory and shooting range. SHE took me. It was pretty funny to see her get really excited over seeing all the shiny guns, like she also does with shoes and handbags...
I am a much better shot than her though...

I know of two F2M's that both look just like guys... but even in HS when they were females, they were really boy-ish. They weren't well endowed in front or back and always had short short hair.
