 My Friend Has A New Girlfriend
As the title says, my friend, Jessie, has a new girlfriend. Whoop-de-fucking-do, right? Well, the problem is, I think I have feelings for her. Strong feelings. Not just "tingly in the pants" feelings, but actual, real feelings, and I don't know what to do.
Jessie's a friend, man, and he's been a really good friend, too, but he's got his new girl, and I want to make her mine, and I don't know how to deal with that.
And I just know that she's watching him with those eyes, and loving him with that body, and he's holding her in his arms late at night, and it tears me up. I want her so bad, but I know I can't do anything about it. I guess I need to move on, but where can I find a woman like that?
I mean, I'll play along with the charade, there doesn't seem to be a reason to change, but I can't help but feel so dirty when they start talking cute, you know? I wanna tell her that I love her, but the point is probably moot. Fuck, this really sucks. And it's taking its toll on my confidence, you know?
I'm looking in the mirror all the time, wondering what she doesn't see in me. I've been funny, I've been cool with the lines, everything. Isn't that the way love is supposed to be? I guess its just not enough.
God, I wish I had Jessie's girl :(
