In 12 hours, my daughter will be 1 week old. She can't sit up or anything yet, but I'm still proud!

If she was born Nov 18 that is the most epic thing ever, since Nov 18 is my birthday.

Sleep has been minimal. I have 3 weeks paternity leave from work. I'm hoping she gets into a better sleeping pattern before I start back.

She's so chunky... I love chunky babies.. They're way too cute.. My son was 3 weeks early.. :( He wasn't a chunky baby.. but he was still cute..

Both of my kids came into this world sleeping through the night..

Try your hardest to keep her awake a little longer during the day and put her down a little later at night.. Don't keep her awake all day.. but don't let her sleep more than 16 hours a day..

At night time make sure she's sleeping in her own bed with the lights out.. Try not to stimulate her at night.. Let her know right away, night time is quiet time.. she'll catch on if you're consistent.. When she wakes for a feeding.. feed her and lay her back down.. try not to play with her or get her excited.. keep as many lights off at night as possible..

You can get her turned around no problem.. just be consistent.. :)
