Default age differences

Unlike most of these threads, I'm not concerned with the legalities of the issue. By law I'm in the clear.

My question simply is what are your opinions on relationships with a significant age difference?

I try to look at my situation from a parents' point of view and I can't imagine her parents being thrilled about their high school age daughter dating a guy several years older. And let's be honest; my parents aren't likely to react positively.

It's pretty rare that I meet a girl I'm genuinely attracted to in every way and now that I found out she's so much younger than me I'm not sure what to do, seeing as how my friends, family, co-workers, and everyone else in my life will likely look down on this. I know it's my life but the opinions of the people who are in my life matter to me.

I withheld them for a reason. Girl is high-school age, which anybody with half a brain can generally figure out, as for my age, let's play a game. If you take your weight, subtract it by approx. 250 lbs, you'll be in the general ballpark.

Everytime I click the link marked "User CP," I'm disappointed that all I see is text.

...answer your question?

Take your own age. Now divide it by 2. Now add seven. That is the youngest you can date; if she's over that, you're fine.

hmm... i don't give a shit about age difference... perhaps because my dad and his girlfriend are 13 years apart... and my friends all have older bf's. I'll give examples, one is 17, her bf is 19 (so not much), the next is 17 and her bf is 20 (again not that much) and finally, she is 17 and her bf is 23... so its a bit more of a difference... if you're around that (so like 5 years or so) it should be alright... it might seem weird at first to other people but its really not amazing

Generally guys that are a lot older than there girlfriend are less mature than most people there age and feel the need to find someone younger that they can relate to easier. Are you one of these people?

when I was 13 I went out with a 19 year old.... that was fun. When I was 18 I slept with a 31 year old.... that was also cool. I always go for older men.... except my current bf who is only a year older than me. Older men make the rockin' world go round. As far as I'm concerned.... if the man/woman is younger than my parents and both of you are legal it's all good.

high school age can be 15, 16 17 or 18. I'd say 15 and 16 are off limits (by that I mean dont tell anyone) but 17+ is all gravy. I made a thread called "general consensus on fucking 16 year olds" which added new insight to the subject and how depraved I am. I never ended up bangin her for other reasons though I did post some pics of her.

Anyways,

Hey you're from Syracuse? I go to school in Syracuse.

Anyway, I love the movie that quote is from. Off of the carseat and onto my meat.

And to those calling me a creep: I had no idea she was younger than me. I know her through work, and I always assumed she was my age or possibly even older, we always carry on conversations in a manner which wouldn't lead me to believe she was that much younger.
