I've been begging him to not give up on our relationship.. I've been working so hard.. You wouldn't believe the shit I've put up with.. I'd give anything for him not to go into his super-depressive mode and shut us out.. Nothing ever works.. He isn't willing to give the effort..

I've never felt like he didn't love me to this extent before.. Every time I exhale, my heart sinks about 10 feet.. I just want him to appreciate me, To help me out around the house, to take care of his kids.. But these are tasks too arduous for him to even take into consideration..

God damn.. I love him with everything I have.. But it doesn't seem like he wants this anymore.. It definitely feels like he doesn't want me anymore..

What's worse.. I think he's given up on everything.. I'm almost convinced he's going to kill himself soon..

HT, it sounds at though HoZ's mental problems are spiraling out of control, although without hearing both sides, it's unlikely that we are recieving an unbiased picture of what's going on.

Did you do what we all told you to do? Did you see a relationship counselor, did you each see a psychologist, and far more importantly, a psychiatrist? Because people who are ill need more than talk; they need medication. And without proactive steps on improving Zek's mental health, nothing else is going to start working out for your family.

No children should not be subjected to that sort of environment. Yes, perhaps it is prudent to remove them temporarily. But I am convinced with every part of my being that the issue is not that Zek does not love you, or does not love the children, but rather that he needs serious treatment, perhaps even a stint in an inpatient facility.

You are both young. I will point out again that this is probably a major source behind your plethora of problems, and that as a result, there is little that can be done about that situation other than time.

Should Zek kill himself, it will be a dramatic and traumatic loss for your children, and as such should be prevented at all costs. It is time to look past his behavior, examine the reasons you love him (for the blessing of fortitude) and make him go so see a shrink. Not later tonight, not tomorrow, but right now. Here is a simple fact about kids. Many to most grow up emulating their same sex parent. So look at your daughter and figure she'll be very similar to you.
