It's not a typical kind of marriage, it's what's called a hand fasting. It's a Pagan marriage; more so a blessing from the God and the Goddess. No legal paperwork involved, but there is a ceremony, and a ritual involved so it's still kind of a big deal. I'm very lost on how to bring this up to my mother. I want her to be there, but I don't want her to shit a brick and tell me I can't. I don't know how I should bring it up to her, or talk to her about it, and such. She knows the guy, and she already considers herself a grandmother to his two kids. (they call her Grana, which is what my sister and I called our grandmother before she passed away several years ago, which means SO much to her.) He wants to eventually be married by Justice of the Peace, but that isn't for years. I just want her to accept it, and to be there. I just don't know what to do. Help is greatly appreciated!!!!
