Default A little life help? (may end up long)

Hey, like so many before me I am unsure if this belongs in S&A but I respect your opinions more than anyone else on the net so I will try here.

I am 18 and work at KFC on a casual basis, this is a shit job, I get little money and it's the only thing I do. My girlfriend is 16 and goes to a private school, she doesn't have a job. Recently things with her parents came to a climactic point, for various reasons they have been lead to believe that I cheat on my girlfriend all the time and am a terrible person. In actuality I would consider myself a very nice guy to go out with, just in general. They are incredibly religious and have the most severely damaged sense of reason I have ever seen.

Just for example, when I took her to get some things from the house, her father stood in the doorway to her room and told her that she was an evil spirit sent to test him. Her mum then snatched her phone and ran to her room screaming don't touch me, don't touch me! My girlfriend was unable to give chase had she even wanted to because her dad was holding her in a vice grip. She now has huge bruises from his fingers and a long scratch on her leg where her mum clawed for the phone. They then shouted and told me I had ruined her entire life and her schooling and told her that I was highly promiscuous.

Sarah, my girlfriend has been given two options by them. Either she moves out with me and my Mum pays for her schooling etc, and they will cut all financial support, or she returns to them and plays the perfect daughter. This would involve pretending to believe in God, going through a rigorous punishment and grounding and then seeing me very little/not at all. Even then her life would be a living hell, It is beyond the scope of this thread to explain their insanity.

My problem lies pretty much with money. I have a constant depression now because I can barely support myself, let alone her. My mum has no way of paying for her schooling as she is a single parent and already has my brother's school to pay for. I don't want to give her back to them, and I am sure she doesn't want to go but I just have no idea what else to do. My mum wants to talk to her school and try and mediate a session with the parents but her mum has already spoken to the school and told it their side of the story.

I am sure there are huge information gaps, I am sorry. Would be more than happy to fill them all in if totse could offer any advice. Thank you so much guys, even if you just read this.

For fucked fucks fucking sake man. Really tough choice.
Being pessimistic, Id say itll all go bad, there aint no good way out except dumping that wimmin, she's just a cumbucket like all the rest. But then again, I wouldnt be a romantic, so Id guess the answer would be to get a better job or a second job and try to pay for her education. If i wasnt the good reader, Id expect her to finally just throw you away after sometime (48 Laws of Power reading).
So yeah. Fucked up. Think about supporting her, even letting her stay at your place would be good enough, if you could afford it. Also, try maybe going to the school like you said youd do, if you point out her fanatic parents maybe they atleast offer some advice and real help?

I read it all and you're welcome.

First, I your in a really tough situation and I think you already know and understand the gravity of your situation here. It may seem that you have two options here: Leave your girl, she stays with her parents and you don't have to worry about tuition but you can't just leave here, not in times like this. The other is have your girlfriend leave her family, she stays with you and you'll have more bills to pay.

For me, the best advice that I can give is to collaborate/compromise with her family. It's the best win-win situation but I think that it's also the hardest. Regarding to what you stated about her parents, I think that they are really close-minded and not something that a devout Catholic should act. Sorry if I am being anti-parent here since I believe that I am in no position to label them as such.

But still, try to say sorry even if you haven't done anything wrong especially if you really love your girlfriend. Show her parents that you really deserve to be their daughter's boyfriend.

That's all...

See her on the DL. Sneak around the parents they're not all-knowing.

Hopeful / Romantic outcome:

Let her parents pay for school so she gets into a good college. Then get a job near her college and she can live with you (no way for her parents to know). Then she'll graduate, make 60k a year, and you guys can move away and say fuck you to the parents.

Selfish outcome:

Let her move in with you. She can go to a public high school like everyone else and then a community college. That gives you 6 years to find a better job. Then she graduates and you two move away. She now spends the rest of her life with a bum, but at least you're happy.

Probable outcome of either scenario:

She's 16. I don't know how long you've been together, but at 16 she still has 2 years of high school and 4 years of college. The whole serious dating / relationship thing doesn't really even start until you're about 16. She's going to meet many more people over the next 6 years and its very possible she'll find someone she likes more then you. Or she'll be selfish and find someone with a more promising future than you. If you choose option B and she moves in with you right now, she'll probably leave you in a couple years for fucking up her future financially.

It's a tough decision because if you two don't end up together, you've really fucked her if she leaves her parents and comes live with you. Do whats right for her, let her go to her parents. If she really loves you, you'll be fine and you can see each other all the time once she's gets to college. If you're going to stay together, you're going to stay together despite a little separation. If you end up breaking up, you would have broken up anyways, at least this way she still has a good education behind her.

I'd get her to go to the police and show them the bruises/scratches from her father.

This really is a tough situation man. What you have to do is figure out how much you care for her and how much she cares for you. If you SERIOUSLY see this thing with her leading to something serious like matrimony then try your hardest to get her away from those people and somehow financially support her by making alot of compramises. If however you don't see this going anywhere i'd say just back off. Get out of this situation as soon as possible and move on.
