In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with having a boner with a girl in private. Most women view it as a sort of compliment, and yes, if you're not some hideous fucking chud, you can probably get her to help you out with it.

The key to boner management is to not only play it off when it happens, but to also have a "bad mental image" that kills your boner when appropriate. I did this all of the time with my ex.
