Re: dumped after two years
Wait it out, give her some space. Maybe call her once and a while, to let her know that you care that she left you, but don't call so much as to annoy her.

Re: dumped after two years
Wait......she's been with you since you were 14 and you were dumped after 2 years. With the aid of my maths I determine you're 16. So with that said what you're in is a kids relationship, and since you're dating a 16 year old girl you should realize how incoherent and childish they are. It's to be expected at such a young age.

Re: dumped after two years
What should I do?:(
Grow the fuck up, nothings for ever and teenage relationships ultimately come to an unwanted child or nothing.

qft
I dated 2 girls in high school, and broke up with both of them. Did it hurt them? yes, but both are married now (I think, one was useless without a man), as am I.
High school relationships seem important now, but in 5 years you'll look at it and laugh.

Re: dumped after two years
Sorry, but my reaction changed a lot when I read you were sixteen.
I guess you get over her and get on with being a teenager... thats what I'd have done.

Re: dumped after two years
It's nice how all the older posters are like "lol teenage love means nothing" but I bet it didnt when you were that age!
It still hurts, even if in the grand scheme of things it turns out to not matter alot.
First of all thread starter, you are not worthless. This girl, whilst she's important to you, isnt the be all and end all of your existence.
She's a confused and scared teenage girl, going through a massive amount of change, just because she doesent know what she wants and dumped you, doesent make you worthless.
Can you explain more about how she was 'unhappy' ?

Re: dumped after two years
Thanks, She doesn't wanna go through high school being know as her and I. She feels she doesn't have her own personality, and feels that she has to make sure she isn't doing things that she doesnt think I would approve of. She doesn't wanna marry me thinking she could of been with someone better
Is that what she said or what you imagine she might be thinking?
When a person gets dumped I know they tend to think the worst things about themselves. They're generally not true things but that doesent help at the time. I know being dumped hurts, it really does. I'm sorry you're having to go through this.:(
It sounds a bit hopeless... if she's determined she doesent want to be with you, there's not alot you can do.
But it's scary she's thinking of marriage when she's still in school.
What do you feel? Do you really really love her? Or is it the emptiness by your side talking?
Did you ever forsee marriage in your relationship?

Re: dumped after two years
Eh, grow some balls, then outdo her and become successful. Do it right in front of her, and make her wish she was still with you!

Re: dumped after two years
She dumped you because she thinks she can find someone better? Better as in a better future, as in making more money?
Doesn't sound like a girl you'd want to be with in the first place...

She said all of that. Idk if its gonna work though, I think if I wanted to we would get back together. I love her but if she wants to move on it won't work. Thanks for the help everyone

Re: dumped after two years
My girlfriend that i've been with since i was 14 left me because she's not happy. She's only been not happy for less than a week. Everything was perfect, I mean we were ment to be together forever. Now she broke up with me. What should I do?:(
Dude, it gets easier. Trust me.
Same thing happened to me nearly three months back. You get used to it.
Just go out and enjoy yourself.
