Default Is it truely possible to not be interested in sex?

Is it humanly possible to genuinely not be interested in sex and things pertaining to sex?

I'm around this girl who i've almost started a relationship with but as we've gotten to know each other it seems she doesn't ever want to have sex. (so she says) She told me no matter what, i'm "not getting any" so I asked her why and she says shes not interested in sex at all. Probing for answers, i've come to these conclusions.

Shes a virgin
Shes not a germaphobe
Shes not religious
Shes not been sexually traumatized in early life
Shes not a lesbian
She does not have sexual dysfunction disorder
She is normally aroused like everyone else.

Heres where the shit gets interestingly confusing. She has a VERY dirty mind but it only comes out when we speak online or on the phone. I can't repeat some of the things we've discussed and how awkward it is seeing her in person afterwards. (also frustrating not being able to go there IN person)

She'll let me touch and massage her limbs and torso but is offended when I venture other places. Shes slept with me (in a literal sense) and when I tried to make a move she didn't respond but the next day tells me it makes her physically ill to be touched like that.

Totse, I am confused. Is it possible for someone to actually not be interested in sex and yet have such a dirty mind?

she's a girl and therefore by nature naturally fucked up! that made any sense?

the more you try to understand women, the more it hurts your brain, and the better getting drunk seems!

Dude it seems pretty obvious to me that she just doesn't want to bone you yet. You said she's a virgin so she's probably just gonna take a bit more work than usual. Maybe you should try to make her think you actually like her or something and don't just want to nut all over her.

I had a girlfriend like that. She was more affectionate online than in person. She liked to mess around, me playing with her tits and shit, but sex was out of the question.

Maybe theres something wrong with her down there. You know, a deformity or something that she doesn't want you to see. Or maybe she's just uncomfortable with you seeing or touching down there and she just has to get used to you.

She doesn't want to fuck you. Just like my girlfriend of 2 years. Can't even get her wet anymore.

Maybe it's the birth control pills, but even before then her entire sex drive has gone away.

Like me, I can masturbate 4 times in a row and only need maybe a 10 minute break.

I'm 22 and she is 20. I'm the second guy she's been with sexually. Before guys, it was 2 years of no sex until me.

Damn it.

She sounds unwell. Should get some councelling.
Even if she was never abused there could be something fucked up from her childhood that makes her think that sex is 'dirty'.

If you can, try to go down on her, show her how nice it can feel.

If she doesent want to sort it, if she doesent want to satisfy you and make you happy, if she doesent feel it's a problem, you need to leave.
Let her live her sordid fridgid life alone and go out and get yourself a loving girl who has some respect for you.

Interesting you'd say this. She KNOWS I like her, and I told her i'd totally fuck her if she'd let me and I WOULD go down on her. She just said i'm sick and hinted that she'd fuck me too if she was 'interested' in sex.

I'm not sure if the 'sick feeling' from being touched or fondled or whatever is lagit or not. Hard to tell if I should press on or look someplace else.

If she has some sort of deformity, i'd be cool with that... But a penis... not so much...

Do you know what else pisses me off? when people make those threads about 'how much does xxx cost where you are?' and everyone answers indifferent currencies, rendering the thread completely pointless.

How old is she? You know, she might just not be ready yet. Hell, you'd be hard-pressed to find one but there are actually some girls who won't give it up until marriage. Maybe thats it and she is just too embarrassed to tell you because somehow she thinks you might laugh or not believe her. Abstinence isn't necessarily a religious thing.

Theres probably a reason and she hasn't told you because either she thinks you'll think its silly or thinks its silly herself.

Doubt she has deformity/std/penis/fuckbuddy or most of the other things people ahve mentioned.

What you need to do is just sit down with her and have a serious conversation with her, find out what the problem is, and see if you can find a way to work through it.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm a romantic, understanding guy. I will give a girl a couple weeks, maybe even a month, to get her shit figured out. But if she's showing any signs of frigidity or unnecessary prudishness, then I don't see any reason to waste anymore valuable time.

And if she's saving it for marriage, then we're obviously not compatible enough for it to work out anyway.

Saving it for marriage is such a horrible idea anyway. Who wants to be all awkward and inexperienced on their wedding night? Not only that, but what if the other person turns out to be REALLY bad in bed. You're stuck with them for life. Through rich and through pour, sickness and health, until death do you part.

No thanks, I'd rather test drive the car before I take it home.

Well, yeah, I guess when it come right down to it, it becomes more of a situation-specific kind of thing, you know?

Depending on the girl I might be willing to wait for her but at the same time theres probably a thousand others i wouldn't wait for.

To each his/her own, I suppose.

Sex is sex, i hate it when girls make a big fuss over it, for fuck sake - sex feels good, why not want to do something that feels good? she sounds fucked up, plus its a bit wrong to be saying "you ain't getting any", wtf is that all about, she could atleast word it better, stay with her, shag other girls, but don't ever give her any, ever, keep your sexual frustration ticking over with your wang poking other females, make her regret what she said.

I know shes aroused normally, because she told me. She said there are people she love to fuck but just doesn't. I tried to sit down and talk to her about it, find out whats the problem and all I could get out of her is that its something shes ashamed of. She refuses to tell me. Shes 19. She told me her ex boyfriend of a YEAR dumped her because of her prudishness. Its not like shes focusing on life right now because all shes doing is going to school, and she has no future plans, no real ambition for a career. Doesn't even know what kind of career she wants to have. She's blown off class to hang with me so I know thats not her priority.

I don't get it. Me, i'm straight noble. I know I look good, I know I have a promising future and she knows this too! I swear, if she married me she'd be happy and taken care of and thats obvious to everyone around us. I talked to her, explained that I wasn't using her but I would like to have sex with her. I put everything on the table and to no avail. We just argued about how people in general suck and can't be trusted and how they use each other.

One part of me says, keep at it and prove to her you're not like those people, the other part says fuck this, if she doesn't want to be treated right and have a good time go find someone who does and thats what I'm going to do. Fuck her. She thinks shes too good for everyone and that her virginity is somehow special. Personally, i'd rather her not be a virgin, the idea of being bled all over and having her whine about how much it hurts isn't very appealing to me. I just wanted her.

~~~
It sounds like you're putting WAY more into this relationship than she is.
For one thing, she has no ambition. Most women wouldn't stick with a guy like that for much longer than a week.
Another thing is that she's not being completely open and honest with you. Another thing that should only be put up with for so long.
And last but not least, sex is not a minor part of any relationship. Of course it isn't the only thing that should matter, but it is still important. If she's not willing to at least give you a reasonable explanation as to why she's holding out, and give you both an opportunity to overcome this obstacle (since time alone isn't a valid excuse), then she's not living up to her end of the deal.
All in all, to sum things up, in all seriousness:
She's defective. Replace her.
Not many people get married simply because of the good sex
No, but it is part of the complete package.
And not many marriages last. What's your point?
True dat.
Maybe you should just try to slip it in when she's not looking?
It could just be as simple as the fact that she's a virgin has never been touched by a dude and isn't sure about it yet. How long have you been working on her for?
