When I met newstar I couldn't think of him as anything but 'newstar' but I forced using his real name in the end and it stuck

When you're on ventrillo or TeamSpeak playing some FPS do you call people by their real name or username? I always call them by their username.
We had a Totse vent server (is it still up?), and everyone called everyone else by their username. The only exception I would make would be calling "Clifford the Big Red Bong" just "Clifford" because his real username is far to long.

There's a little 'snap' where suddenly somebody is their real name and not their Totse name. Sometimes it's instantaneous and sometimes it takes hours, but it always happens.
