anyone have any experience doing drive-offs? pumping gas and not paying for it, that is. swim recently completed his 300th. no shit, im serious. its great to do on road trips when you're traveling main interstates, and it'll save you a ton of money.

I've heard about it and even watched a segment on it on the news. However, I have no clue how to do it. Around here, all the stations make you pay before you pump.

There's not much "how to"

You get mud on your plate, fill up at a station that doesn't make you prepay, and drive off.

I have never, ever, seen a station that doesn't make you pay first. And I've been all over the states.

Perhaps small private stations out in bumfucks do it, but I wouldn't know because I never go to them. Those usually don't have cameras either, so no need to cover plates. Just fill up normally and fumble around like you're paying and drive off. No one is going to look and memorize your plates if you aren't acting like a fucktard.

yea... never seen a gas station that makes you pay first and most of the ones near me have almost no cameras or security other than the workers inside so not paying is easy enough that my friends with cars get away with it as long as they take their time, dont act nervous etc. basically use common sense and its a breeze

You're in Canada, however. The system there is a little more funky than how it is here in the states.
