after my dad dropped me off at work he was arrested. for a suspended lisence, which no one bothered to inform him about.

while he was dealing with the cops one of them flat out told him "we've been watching your house". you may not remember but i made a thread about this a few months ago, aparently me and my dad are both suspects in a break in in our neighborhood. my dad called the cops when he saw someone walking around looking in all our neighbors windows (it was a summer house, and this was still winter, obviously no one should have been doing that) and the cops didnt even fucking look around the house, they treated him like a suspect, and searched him and shit. they kept implying they were watching the house and even said "you know theres been a lot of talk about you and your family down at the station".

this is bullshit because we didnt fucking do anything. honestly. now i remember a while ago i mentioned i had car shopped, and honestly i did, but i really only took drugs, which are illegal anyway, and honestly it made me feel very very bad about myself so i soon stopped and havent since, and never plan to in the future. im really not a criminal, and neither is my father. he worked for years on the fire department and as an EMT in this town and knows all of the police and stuff, and theure really going out of their way to fuck with us now.

i understand where theyre coming from and stuff, we're poor as hell and everyone in the town knows it (because its a rich gossipy town), and there was a break in right nextdoor, but i really wish they could understand it wasnt us. it really just sucks. im mad but i really cant get too mad because theyre really just doing their job.. but they are seriously going out of their way to fuck with us now and its getting under my skin. i dont know..

Well, if they're wrong in blaming you then they are not "just doing their job." Their job is to solve the crime, and if you guys really didn't do it then the cops are fucking up their job. Big surprise, but that aside can you think of any reason that you would be targeted in this way? Especially considering that your pop was an FF/EMT - all the emergency services are usually pretty tight-knit. Can you bail him out? Is he being indicted? Get a lawyer if you haven't already. I feel like there's more to the story but not trying to pry.

well i have a minor but cool update.

my dad went to court today. without the lawyer, it was just to see where things were going to go from here. and the judge couldnt understand why the cop didnt just give him a citation, and was actually very annoyed with the cop who made the arrest. so he threw it out

i dont know if i mentioned it but while my dad was in his cell, the dickhead cop who arrested me once and gives my dad problems whenever he can just sat outside his cell and gave him shit and was laughing at him. so my dad told him to fuck off and gave him the finger, and he threatend to charge him with disturbing the peace. then my dad pointed out how theres audio and video there, and he was always recorded instigating him, so he shut up and walked away

i bring that up because that cop was also present when my dad was in court. so i think its funny.

lol I think that cop got pwned pretty bad. It'd be cool if you could get a copy of the video, but that would probably bring more heat on you.
