Actually, I loved Hellsing. Hellsing and Full Metal Alchemist are two of favorite shows (not just anime) of all time. I also enjoyed Death Note and Vampire Hunter D. But now I'm running out of stuff I like. I watched the first few episodes of Naruto, Ninja Scrolls, Berserk!, Which Hunter Robin, Samaria Champloo, Bleach, and Cowboy Bebop. It seems I watch the first episode and it never meets my expectations of Hellsing or FMA, so I try something else. I'm watching Blood - The Last Vampire right now, its alright.

So can someone recommend me something that's well animated with a full storyline like FMA or Hellsing. Preferable not about spells and demons like Princess Mononoke and Inuyasha.

Maybe I'm not giving some of these other shows enough of a chance. I should tough it out through the first few eps before I actually start enjoying it. I liked the Cowboy Bebop movie, maybe I'll give that series another shot.

Sometimes it takes a few episodes to start getting into it. I usually say watch the first two or three episodes of something to really determine if you like it or not. Give Bebop another shot, and try Blood + and Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex.

The Bebop movie was good, so Ill try Bebop again.
I already watched Ghost in the shell, that was pretty good.

You're not giving them enough of a chance.

Watch the Ninja Scroll movie if you haven't seen it already. Watch the first season of Naruto (25 eps) since most of the beginning establishes the setting and skips the fillers (97, 102 - 106, and everything after 135 until Shippuuden). Same thing with Bleach. Watch Bleach until they go to soul society and Ichigo fights Zaraki Kenpachi before you made a final decision on that series. The whole Bounto arc is filler so you can skip that as well (64 - 110).

I thought Samurai Champloo was a great series. It's only 26 eps long.

Berserk is cool as well, although the anime never continued with the series and ends on a cliffhanger. The manga is really good.

The original Hellsing turns into filler hell since they were producing it too close to the manga and just spontaneously ends. Watch Hellsing Ultimate OVA if you haven't already.

I think you're right, I'm not giving anything a chance. I watched bleach, and at about episode 4 I started to get really into it. I guess I just have to go back and retry everything, but force myself to watch the first few eps even if I don't they they're any good. Thank you guys. I'm really into bleach, I watched about 7hrs within the last day. Never would have found it if you never told me to retry.

Alright, open mindedness is the key with anime....

And life! But yeah, I remember that it took me a little bit to get into Evangelion. Elfin Lied took me a long time to get into though. But, Samuria X I quit while I was in the middle of it, so don't get discouraged.

Elfin Lied, BLAH! I too say watch at least 6 episodes of any anime before completely discrediting it.

Read the Hellsing manga.

The anime is terrible.

Hellsing Ultimate, the new series, is somewhat bearable. If they'd ever finish it .
