As to YLF, I hope it's a speedy recovery. I was in the hospital in another country and my gf had no idea what happened, she just got vague details that I was hurt. She didn't know where, how, when, or anything. All she knew was that I was in extremely bad shape.

i went. and took care of him as best i could. and i was an emotional wreck when i wrote this originally, so i think i was handling it fairly well considering.

he's doing ok. he was drunk when it happened but it seems to be mostly bad luck; he just fell funny and put his leg out to stop him and it went through glass. i'm pretty not cool with the fact that he gets so drunk that he's hurting himself and can't be in control, but we talked about that and he knows i'm right.
