Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
Me and my girlfriend have had sex 3 times.... and we've talked about her going on the pill before. We already know that it's okay with her mom, her mom told us that. But her dad...... thats a different story. If he knew we were having sex, he would probbally beat my head in with a baseball bat. So we can't just ask her mom to put her on the pill, because her mom would have to tell her dad, or at least the dad would get suspicious as to where all this money was going each month. So, we're trying to think of some excuses to use to get her on the pill. Of course, her mom would probbally know its bullshit, but it's an excuse we could tell her dad so he wouldn't know. I hope you all understand what I just said........ The best excsue I can think of, is to control when her period comes. Because her period never really does follow a pattern. It came once, then 3 and a half weeks later, came again, then another 3 weeks, it came. And I just hate it when shes on her period, because, well, no sex. It came the day before my birthday too, that mad me so fucking mad. So, if anyone knows any good excuses.... I'd appreciate it.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
to regulate her period is a very good one
it also with some girls lightens the horror of the period, so if she suffer really bad from her period, that might be a good one two
you could also always say, what if she got raped, don't want the chance of a rape baby, but i would go for the one you mentioned yourself

I think the best reason is "I am having sex".
Is it not? Do not be afraid, for the adult ones do know of this sex you speak of.

^^^I dont want my skull beaten in by her father. Her mom wouldn't care. Her dad would fucking kill me. I'm serious.
It's only 17 bucks? My gf was on the pill last year, to control hormones, and she said it was $60 a month......

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
Just make sure she tells the doctor it's for sex. Otherwise he'll put her on a lower hormonal dosage that regulates her period/helps clear-up acne/any other excuse you can think of- but is less effective as a means of birth control.

If her dad tries to hurt you, you defend yourself accordingly and call the police. It's not your fault that he's an over-protective sack of shit. Besides, who says that her mom has to tell her dad if she goes on the pill?

Your mad because you she was on her period and so you couldn't have sex on your birthday even though there was nothing she could do about it? Your a fucking retard. Other than that, I don't give a shit about anything else you said.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
walk around your school with a tin can that says "support my sex habits, help buy the pill"
guarenteed youd get enough money to buy 2-3 months worth in a day. and best thing is, people will find it funny, and girls will want to have sex with you more.

I know girls who were put on the pill to regulate "intense" periods. It is the best excuse.

I understand you don't want any problems with her dad, but what it comes down to is if you're old enough to be having sex, you should be old enough to handle aggression from an old man.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
It depends where you are, but in some states you can go to a teen clinic and get the pill for free or very cheap. Some places also don't make you have a parents consent. Do some research on your area.
If that doesn't work out the period control reason usually works on dads. Most of them don't like to think about their little girl having their period and will avoid the subject at all costs.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
First things first.
Can you avoid getting the parents involved? It's a moot point that her mother supports the cause; if her father doesn't, drama WILL occur when one spouse has to lie. I would worry less about physical violence, which could get his ass arrested and incarcerated, but that he might use the law against you. Know the age of consent laws for your state.
As suggested, some states don't require parental consent for birth control. Check out Planned Parenthood (http://www.plannedparenthood.org) to see if this is the case.
You can try conspiring with the mother to get the pill under false pretenses, but eventually a phone call, piece of mail or insurance statement is going to give the wrong person the wrong info.
Edit: Express link to the info you need. (http://www.plannedparenthood.org/library/FAQs.html#LAWS)

She's right. I go to Planned Parenthood, and they charge according to your girlfriend's income. I pay $12 a pack for my pills. Everything there is strictly confidential, and safe. AND, they offer you free condoms every time you go.
And as far as excuses go, the pill gets rid of cramps (if she suffers from them), regulates your period, helps clear up acne, as well as a few other things that I can't think of at the moment. I say, get her on it, it's a safe road to take.

holy god, where the fuck was she buying them? btw, when I said $17, I mean CANADAIAN, so that would be like $12 american. anyhow, $60 per month is fucking CRAZY. I cant imagine anyone paying that much for it. maybe you mis-heard her saying sixteen rather than sixty.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
^^No, she probably got them through her family doctor. If you get a prescription through a regular doctor, they are very expensive. Your best bet is to listen to everyone else and go to planned parenthood, or family planning (they are all the same) and get her on the pill quick.

Re: Good excuse to tell parents, "put me on it"
Allright, thanks for all your help people. My town has a planned parent hood building, I might have to tell her about that and maybe check it out. But if not, we talked about how we would talk to her parents.
Ok, so her dad works on the road, monday through friday. So, he leaves for work on monday, and doesnt get back till friday. So, we figure, next monday when we dont have school (memorial day), we will talk to her mother about it. We know her mom will be cool about it, and glad that we actually came to her for her help and that we want to be safe. We are very unsure about her dad, but we'll have to get over it. Thats why we tell her mom on a monday, so when her mom calls her dad that night on the phone, he'll have almost a whole week to think about it and let it sink in. I'm gonna be scared shitless of going to her house when her dad is there, but I'll have to get over it I guess. It's a part of doing the right thing. Thanks everyone for you're help. Keep posting you're ideas and thoughts, and whenever we talk to her mom, I will post back with results.

Perhaps you shouldn't be having sex in the first place. You should educate and prepare yourself before sex, not after.

could be the answer but without a lot of self control it'll end in vaginal sex won't it?

^^ that seems pretty regular to me ... for a teenager at least.
as everyone said, go check out planned parenthood and such to find less expensive and for now, i don't know how the dad will handle it based on what you say ... i'd say try and avoid that if you can ...
my high school has like a health service thing that provides medical care for free (doctor check ups/pregnancy tests/STD test...etc.) and can give prescriptions without parental consent ... i'm in california btw ... see if you can find something similar where you are.

I've always had this fantasy of singing that song "Hey mister (I really like your daughter)" to my gf's dad, and just watch his head explode.
I love that song. its so calm and mellow, yet its this guy telling another guy how he wants to fuck the fuck out of his daughter.
"When I'm horny like thirsty, shes a tall glass of water."

It's horrendous what I'm doing to some poor man's daughter. The girl's a freak du jour.
