Yes. I don't know why, but the evidence is all around you.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
Yes. If you want to know WHY they behave the way they do, you'll have to ask one of them.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
Yes, of course.
Watch a rap video then walk around your locality.
Then repeat with a (punk/metal/emo) music video, whichever is the most dominant "alternative" in your area.
Notice anything?

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
No. The teen generation lets media/music control them.
Prolly the Jews.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
Kids are too stupid to think for themselves. If it weren't for popular culture, they'd probably be walking around naked with an empty look in their eyes grunting illegible utterances.
Children should be locked in a barrel and fed through a tube until they're 18.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
Pop culture influences teens, as do teens influence pop culture. It's a vicious cycle.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
not neccessarily since the media and music trends have to appeal to the tastes of the teen generation. but then again depends on what age teens you're talking about. early on they're impressionable and therefore yes. but later in the years they tend to develop their own interests.

Re: Do the media/music trends control the teen generation?
Well no shit. Try and find a 16 year old who doesn't look like some tinsel-town whore. The vindication my kind gets is when they fuck with us and we chase them with an iron pipe. The bonus is catching them and breaking their bones.
