help QUICK please
i did post this in mad scientists and had no reply last night so i have to post it here because i need it in an hour.
How do I solve for these?
1. How many grams of Na2 SO4 are added to 250 grams of water to lower the freezing point to -2.50C ( kf = 1.86 C/m)
2. How many kilograms of water is needed to raise the boiling point from 100C to 101.25C when 50.0 grams of Mg(BrO3)2 is added. (kb = 0.52 C/m)

How about you grabbed your fucking course books yesterday and did some research instead of whining on totse.
It is called homework. It is something YOU do at home. And strangely enough, doing so will increase your chances in a passing grade. And heck, it'll even educate you.
TOTSE SLOGAN: READ, KNOW, DO. Follow it.

Re: help QUICK please
its called being sick and missing the lesson and not understanding it well from the poorly written book. all i get from #1 is that i have to figure out the freezing point depression and i have the freezing point depression constant. then i have to get the molality of the solution and that will lead me to the final answer. but i dont know what to do after 2.50/1.86 = 1.34.

Re: help QUICK please
Ok, being sick gives you half of an excuse. So I halfly apolize.
BUT!!
I typed this in in google "how to lower freezing point of water using Na2SO4".
Give it a fucking go! Also, asking for help to your teacher is no shame. It gives you better understanding in a one-on-one course and teachers appreciate the incentive of wanting to do good in school. Most teachers give a better score after you asked help.

Re: help QUICK please
And honestly, I don't know how to do this. I was good in chemistry, but that has been 7 years. I bet I could figure it out in an hour, as it took me five minutes to find some decent info about it on the net. If I had some time, I'd probably give it a go. But I don't have time.
Good luck.
