 So my friend told me this really creepy story tonight
I gotta say, this one shook me up a bit. If anyone ever did this to my kid, I'd slip them 5 hits of acid, beat them with a wiffle bat, and toss them out of a moving car on the highway.
So my friend was telling me this story about how there was this girl he knew in highschool who used to baby sit. The parents told her before she came over that he hadn't been sleeping well at night. He kept having really bad dreams about a clown. So everything is going well until she decides to put him to bed.
She walks him into the bathroom, helps him brush his teeth, wash his face and everything before he goes to sleep. Then she takes him into his room and notices this ugly clown doll in the corner. A real big doll. She thinks "well, that's odd..." and calls the parents to ask them about this. "Well, you said he was having problems sleeping at night because of clown dreams, do you think I should take that creepy clown doll out of his room?" *longish pause* "We don't have a clown doll"
At that moment, the clown doll stands up and runs for the door. It turned out to be a man who had been terrorizing the neighbour hood for a few months, by hiding in kids rooms and molesting them at night as a clown.
Fuck the wiffle bat, I'd use a real bat.

Well...I have heard (I have no idea of the veracity) sometimes molesters use masks. Thus if a child speaks up to a parent/guardian, they are more likely to be thought to be fantasizing. If you really want to be sick & play out dominance games on a child... When a child speaks up about inappropriate behavior/abuse... just say this, "You've got a lot of NERVE! Now, go to your room & don't come out until you've learned to keep a civil tongue in your head! Saying such things about 'X'. The idea!?'  |

OLD....I heard that shit in like 8th grade 2 years ago. Except the version I heard was different. The girl kept falling asleep on the couch and one time she woke up and saw a clown statue. She got annoyed and called the parents saying she would cover up the clown statue because she is scared. They told her to get out at once. Then call the police, police come, parents told her to call because they heard about a clown person in the area, story is revealed yada yada. All these stories are classic and simple horror stories that can be told at sleepovers. Ever heard of that movie When A Stranger Calls? Years before it was even being made I heard that story and its one million versions: stranger calls, tells to check on kids, babysitter gets scared, calls cops, killer is traced to be in house, usually in attic or basement, story unfolds yada yada. All of these I heard at daycamp in like 5th or 6th grade at a lockin at the local park district. Ther was one about a girl that stays home and watches t.v. then gets tired. She is alone and can't sleep so she puts her hand under her bed and her dog licks it, she still can't sleep so that happens again. She still can't sleep so she goes to the bathroom and the gog is hung from a rope and the thing licking her hand was a person and ran away! Last one was a counselor that told me he dropped a friend who was a girl off at her house and she was scared being alone. She thought someone was outside since her backyard was huge and linked to a forest. Forgot how the middle part goes but in the end the counselor said they saw a dude run in the backyard so they called the police and the dude had set up a fort or something and was watching the girl for quite sometime. Gets caught etc, etc. They're all urban myths and they get around fast. Where do you live btw Zok? |

Silent, "When a stranger calls" is an old film the new one is a remake of a 1970s low budget college film. its a cult classic. and that film was based on even an older film called "I know what you did" or some weird title.
In short, yes, these stories are bullshit. If they really did happen, its Life immitating art or some wierd movie buff wanted to make it a reality.
Eitherway, its fucking freaky as hell.

There have been many incidents were people have broken into homes, and thet people inside havent been woken. One of my old neighbours were robbed in the middle of the afternoon, and didnt hear a thing. A few months back, some guy was breaking into childrends bedrooms, standing over them beside thier bed flashing a torch in thier face, and leaving when they woke up. |

If you're talking about the new movie, there was an original one made years ago so maybe the stories you heard were from that. The movie already existed. |

If I ever saw a giant clown in my room, or even an itty bitty little clown, I'd beat the despicable, living crap out of it. I HATE CLOWNS. They're terrifying, horrible, and used to make me cry. Now I just freak out. Know what's worse than clowns? Those wooden ventriloquist dolls. CREEPY. I'm not gonna sleep for a week now...

this reminds me, i read a book a couple years ago, what cops know, it was a collection of interviews from chicago police officers & one of the stories in it talked about this group of people that drove up to a family's house in the middle of the day & tortured then killed them, sick shit like making kids have sex with their parents & cutting off their nipples, i think they did it several times before getting caught
