The poles would melt, so we'd have a lot more water, and a lot less land. But, there would still be plenty of room, and we're not going to spiral into the sun or anything. We'll just have to get used to wearing a lot of sunscreen all the time. I'm sure the planet will take care of itself and so will we.

I'm guessing most of you think that global warming is solely attributed to the humans on this planet? Also - who has actually looked at the graphs and not just blindly followed the media? We followed the same curve a few decades ago, and then it leveled out, in some places went down. The world has its own iceages and whatnot, they don't have to be caused by US. Driving your car instead of taking a bus doesn't mean your house will flood, and global warming isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Since we don't have documented weather cycles going back more than a couple hundred years or so, we can't even be sure that global warming is occering, or if the Earth just goes through a warm then cold and back to warm cycle evey so often.

If you want to learn the truth about global warming in an entertaining fashion no less read "State of Fear" by Michael Chrichton. It clears up all the fear mongering and bullshit around global warming.

We'll all have to wear less clothes and lather our bodies up in lotion.

Antarctica would be the only problem, since the ice is on land. The glaciers are in water, it is pusing the water out of the way, so there would still be the same amount of water in the ocean to begin with. An example of this is if you put an ice cube in a glass of water, there is still the same amount of water in the glass the entire time.

There wont be anything like "The Day After Tomorrow" because global warming is gradual, not quick.

Overall, there would just be worse hurricanes and worse floods.

Global warming is bullshit

To be honest I really couldn't give a fuck. Ill be dead and buried by the time any big shit starts to go down, as will my kids and their kids and probably even their kids.
The crisis that concerns me most is oil. Whether the peak oil theory is bullshit or not, I have a strong suspicion that somehow Oil is going to be involved in mankinds next big problem.

I still dont know how people can still deny global warming.

An increase of 2 degrees in 2 centuries is A LOT with respect to the age of the earth. Ice Ages take thousands of years to come and go.

The Arctic oceanhas failed to refreeze 2 years in a row.

All this when were due for another ice age.

I love the way you sceptics seem to know more about global than 99% of scientists and meteorologists who agree with global warming

How do you know that the Earth doesn't just periodically rise and fall in average temperature every few hundred years? Why don't you go back to working on covering the ice caps in tinfoil.

I think the main problem is tsunamis. Especially the one that is expected to reduce the East Coast, US by 20 miles.

I also heard in chemistry class that water only absorbs oxygen from the air when the water is around 4 Degrees Celcius I believe, which occurs usually twice each year. Once during fall as it cools down, and once more during spring when it heats up. If the water just never got to 4 Celcius anymore, then from what I understand most sea life would die off because the water wouldn't absorb any oxygen to sustain the organisms.

It's like anything, humans will just adapt...

How do you think eskimos survive? They have a lung capacity twice as large as a normal person. They adapted to the cold, low air pressure envrionment they live in.

We will just have to adapt to wearing a shitload of sunscreen
