i agree with the general sentiment of your post, but man, you're pretty mixed up about this whole goth thing. i suggest not saying that out loud in real life, because it will make you quite silly. i assume you meant by 'germanic peoples', the visigoths, ostrogoths, etc. they were barbarians around the time Rome fell, if i'm remembering history class correctly. they raped that bloated empire in all orifices when it got too big and started to rot away from the inside out. gothic architecture was like 1000+ years later. the goth culture of the '80s was dubbed so because it was influenced in large part by the dark macabre themes & subject matter of 19th century gothic literature, among other things. many goths would dress in an old school Victorian era style as well, and some still do. i live near the major goth club in detroit (City Club), i see these people all the time. mostly just industrial fans and raver kids now though. chavs should just die, and overall i'm gonna say juggalos over ANY variety of the goth subculture. as annoying as juggalos are, really they're just a bunch of bored ass kids who happen to be extremely dumb -- they're not nearly as pretentious and obnoxious as a self-styled "true goth". Sure, a good amount of people who claim to be juggalos are very stupid. And also A good amount of black people are loud and smell very bad. Not all Juggalos are stupid just like not all black people smell.
