Default Detection Times for drugs

First of all, for an alcohol breathalyzer test, how long after consuming a fair amount of drinks will the breathalyzer detect it? My dad is buying a cheap one off the internet. I'm thinking if I like stay the night at someone's house and drink the night before, will the breathalyzer still be able to detect alcohol if say, I consumed a fair amount of drinks from maybe 10pm-12am and then went home 12 hours later at noon the next day, will it still detect it?
Is there anything you could do to take away the alcohol if I do happen to go home the same night of drinking? I heard drinking soda will cover it up or something, but idk.

Another thing, for crack, how long is the detection time for urine tests(cheap dipstick ones)? Does it build up like marijuana or is it 3-5 days after the last use? Does crack get out of your system faster than powdered coke?

Same thing for codiene, does it build up or is it after the last use it's 3-4 days or whatever it is?

I tried researching this on erowid, but I could find no info on breathalyzer tests and some things are left unclear to me about crack and codiene.

Answers to any or all of these questions would be much appreciated.

5 days after crack and codiene should be good, and I'd say that crack is out of your system just as fast as coke (same substance... only difference is a HCl ion) The rule for alcohol is one drink an hour, so unless you drank a lot, you're good after 12 hours.

but i usually like to drink a lot in a short time. would that push the detection time longer?

The breathalyzer detects alcohol that is expelled by you lungs (about 5% of alcohol leaves your body this way, pissing it out counts for like 90% an sweeting counts for like another 5). So as long you blood contains alcohol, so will your breath.

yea that doesnt really have any info on alcohol.

all i need to know now is about the breathalyzers. if getting drunk on day A and going home on day B if the alcohol would still be detected.

Alcohol
AKA: Beer, Wine, Liquor
Medical Uses: Antidote for Methanol poisoning
Route of Administration: Oral
DEA Schedule: Not scheduled
Drug Detection Time: 6-10 hours
http:// www.urinet heclear.com/information/detection_times/

Not much, but at least its something

Edit: i just found this:
Alcohol Beer, Wine, Liquor Antidote for methanol poisoning 24-48 hours

id say average the two out, but one might be by blood and one might be by breathalizer. 12 hours should be good if you dont eat much before (it will digest faster, less on your breath) and maybe drink a soda or something
