What amazes me most about Robert Johnson is how his music is so formulaic and at the same time I can listen to everything he wrote in one sitting and be completely captivated.

For people who are looking to get into him, Phonograph Blues is what first knocked me over. "What evil have I done, what evil has this poor girl heard?" It gives me the chills.
