George Bush lied about getting UN approval before invading Iraq. All the intelligence of the WMD was Bull Shit. More and more people are thinking that it was lies for justification for the war.

He was advised it was not a good idea and would destablize the region but he did invade and now the OIL companies are making record profits from Bush's actions and the profits of supplying the DOD with the fuels needed to conduct a war.

Companies like Halliburton are scamming the government and committing fraud with no-bid Iraqi contracts and making record profits and putting the lives of opur troops in jeopardy and congress shamefully sits on their asses acting blind and dumb.

The people on this site that are pro-Bush can not defend his handling of the war and still support the war out of some tragic sence of blind loyalty no matter how bad it affects this country.

Public support for the war is diminishing and Bush is so scared of bad PR over the war that he allowed lies to be told about a real Patriot - Pat Tillman and just this week launched an operation dubbed 'Swarmer' so that it would look as if there was actual military operations being conducted in Iraq instead of just sitting duck target patrols. But 'Swarmer' only netted 3 weapons caches in the area while there are 1000's of weapons caches in Iraq. 41 possible insurgents in custody - no wait- 17 or nearly half were released before the day was up.

And meanwhile the cost of the War in Iraq is going up up up. It is a disaster unless one makes money from it like Bush's oil buddies or members of the Carlyle group (Bush his daddy and his buddies) or companies like Halliburton and KB&R (Bush's buddy and vice prez - Cheney).

It is dispicable.

So Bush says that we went to war to liberate the citizens of Iraq - well since there were no WMD found, Well so we can be noble and all Bush had to come up with this after his Shock and Awe bombing lark that did a shitload of killing of innocents and damage to the infrastructiure of Iraq and insured that hAlliburton and other no-bid companies could receive billions in cash with no receipts and no accounting at all and no work accomplished to justify the payments.

And still there is little water and electricity at levels before the war. The Iraqi constitution that Bush likes to talk about and the free elections that Bush is so proud of did not stop the death squads that Iraq was plagued with before the war. The new government still is as kill crazy as Saddam and the department of defense has its own death squads and even some private torture chambers and prisons have been revealed..

A majority of the troops fighting the war want the war to end this year and Bush who is so concerned about the men's lives that he sends into combat seems to be deaf when it comes to caring about that. And if the way Pat Tillman's family was treated by the military is any indication of the way Bush cares about the troops then Bush is surely a lying fuck.

One would think that if Bush can not benefit monetarily or politically then a person is not cared about at all. So I think that is why I think Bush is so committed to a failed war in Iraq. Because he and his buddies are profiting from it.

I could go on and on about what I think about the war and I may do so later.
