Agreed. He is so pitifully funny. He's just a tragic character. My favorite line might be when he and homer have to sleep in the same bed, and Homer says "I've gotta warn you, I bite in my sleep", and Moe says "Yeah, well, I sweat blood." |

Impossible to answer, because some of the worst episodes have some of the best moments, so I'll just list off some favorite moments.
Homer skateboarding into that ravine thing. Especially when they almost showed it again in a clip show and somebody goes "Everybody's seen that one already!"
Any episode with Sideshow Bob is worth mentioning, as well as any episode when they show the past, like Homer and Marge meeting in high school.
That Homer 3D halloween episode.
"Anybody seen Tron?"
"No."
"No."
"No."
"No."
"No."
"No."
"Yes... I mean no, no."
The Shinning
Many other Halloween ones.
Johnny Tightlips gets shot
"What do I tell the doctor?"
"Tell im to suck a lemon"
That one where Lisa keeps trying to get new cats and they keep dying on her.

Aside from Homer, my favorite character is Mr. Burns. He is by far the funniest and deepest character not in the family. A close second is Krusty.

Too many to choose just one.
I love the one where they move to another town because homer gets a new job. His boss (was it Dr.Scorpion?) is an evil villain and nobody seems to notice. I can't remember specific dialogue, only that I laughed my ass off.
I also loved the camp krusty episode. The part where lisa is about to go swimming but the water below the dock is smashing against jagged rocks and she says "are you sure it's safe." and curly says. "well it isn't getting any safer."
I almost forgot a great episode: The one where homer eats that atomic chili and has a hallucinogenic trip with the talking fox.

Also funny when the astronauts were humming "Glory Halleluja" , and Homer was singing the Golden Grahams theme song.

Definitely the one where Homer gives up going to church. It has so many great moments in it. My favourite is when he's dreaming at the start that he's still in the womb, and then he starts being birthed. Then it cuts to him in bed holding his pillow yelling "I'm all naked and wet!"

The Simpsons are great, but I'm begaining to feel a little over exposed to them because channel 10 shows them every weeknight and replays the one episode about a dozen times over 6 months

I love Milhouse and Grandpa. They are hilarious sometimes.
There are just so many episodes but the best ones that come to mind are the ones where Homer Walks instead of driving, the one where Homer gets that great job and his wife is at home with nothing to do because the house cleans itself - forgot what it was called, where it's all one day with the viewpoint from each family member, and basically all the ones where they travel to another country.

When Homer goes to space, it was to funny when he has the break down about planet of the apes. Also in the episode he calls up the white house and president and he like "SHUT UP, now I heard you were the guy to talk to about getting some tang" or something like that.
Another favorite would be the episode the Frank Grimes episode.

It would be impossible to ever have a favorite simposons episode for me. I love them all.
But I did find the one where Homer went to Canada for perscription drugs, and ended up going to my home town of Winnipeg, quite funny. Ned meets a double of him self and after engaging in the typical Flanderish babble, the Winnipegger offers Ned a joint.
