Do you ever have ideas and think "Wow, that would be the most neato thing in the world." Now these ideas don't have to serve any purpose except sheer awsomeness.

My latest idea: Take a camera, put it on top of the house pointing straight up to the sky and then have it play 24 hours a day on a wall sized screen, because who ever really gets a chance to look at the sky when it's raining?

That would be pretty cool. Put the camera in a waterproof glass/plexiglass case and run some wires to a tv and presto. That would be wicked.

Put the video feed live on teh interweb 24 hours a day so the rest of us can watch it.

Instead of normal lights, put tri-colour bulbs in every fixture in your house. Then wire it up to a computer to dynamically control the mood lighting.

Dude, point the screen at the roof... That would be fuckin sweet if you got it looking like there was no roof. Expecially high... Also, I saw this house on the news, and there was like trees covored in christmas lights beating to christmas music. It was cool as hell. there was also snormen and shit too...

My idea falls under the stupid/retarded/pointless category(sp?).

Get a piece of poop car and a big fire extinguisher. mount the fire extinguisher somewhere inside the car preferably out of sight. Then run one hose that splits into two ends from the tank under the dash and out into the engine bay then one on each side out small holes in each fender. Spray the fire extinguisher and the white stuff shoots out and looks like a nitrous purge. Pointless yes but oh so hilarious it would be. Pulling up next to some ricer piece of poop with a fartcan muffler and hit the lever and PSHHHHHHHH nitrous purge.

I want to make a smoke screen for a car. Press a button, and a thick cloud of white smoke blinds anyone who tries to follow you. Maybe an oil slick and caltrops too...

A smoke screen wouldn't be too hard.

My idea relates roughly to the starter's, but taking it one step further. you know those mirrors where only one side's a mirror, the others just a window? i'd love to have a house with at least 2 walls made out of that, but some how resistant to breakage. cost me an arm and a leg to do though. for serious.

gunna make a computer case out of pepsi and solo cans maybe, i have a shitload an i dunno what to do with them, thats the best idea so far. that or just leave them it towers on either side of my monitor, its kinda cool.
maybe cover a wall of my room in pepsi cans flattened out, it would make all the light blueish

Manufacture the Bill Holmes' .22 machine pistol right under my Industrial technology teacher's nose.

(The reason for this is 1) becasue the workshop has a hell of a lot of good machinery that I otherwise cant get very good access to unless I break in at night, and 2) so I can make a bet then win it.)

Im going to incorporate my carefully machined mechanisms into aesthetic design.

eventually I will dissasemble all the projects and solder/weld the shit together/adjsut it.

That's really only an idea at the moment.

My room is in the loft of my house...One side of the roof faces the garden (with a big window) and the other, the street.

My thought was to build a big dormer/blacony thing and have a turret with some sort of firing device attached to it to fire harpoons to catch things with.

I made a crossbow out of Lego and proceeded to do what a friend of mine referred to as "garden fishing" where you harpoon whatever you can and rell the sucker in!

My thought is like that just on a grander scale...It would be awesome to reel the fucker in with a nice big electric motor and find the neighbour's annoying fucking dog lifeless on the end of the harpoon!

Nice idea... but you would need something to wipe the drops of rain off the lense cos all you would see then are drops of water which are waaayyy out of focus and no sky.

I want to build a two door closet big enough to fit 10 4L milk jugs, 1 giant bag of sugar, some yeast, still,etc. Also big enough to encorperate a stealth cabinet and just have 4 plants, Scroged. and CFL's for lighting, with a some ventilation and cooling jackets, etc.....

Thats what I was thinking , but sort of " home theatre " Like you know in school or even in an actual home theatre, you get like a white screen and a projector, make the projector shoot at the roof, so it would look like there is no roof. Maybe you meant the exact same thing but maybe not.
