Just got done Vampire Hunter... GREAT movie, some REAL good fight scene's.

Starting to get into anime/ manga, is this ALL there is... i heard berserk is good. Same with full metal alchemist.

Well you could try neon genesis evangelion, cowboy bebop series, samurai champloo, serial experiments lain, and cromartie high school are all good ones IMO.

Paying for anime, yes, it's almost unheard of :eyeroll:. I buy shows that I enjoy, even if I've downloaded it. Why? Because even if only a small piece of that money I dropped for it gets back to the original studio, I feel good about it. And as for manga and paying for it, I still hold the highest dollar amount when compared with my friends, and one of them works where we buy most of our manga. That dollar amount? 2,000 +.

I heard that most of the money goes to the American distributors, plus a small percentage of royalties for the Japanese publishers and animators. Actually, I don't even know if the animators get anything if their stuff is bought from America.

That's what licensing fees and royalty checks are for.

Elfen Lied is a very good anime, super gorey.

Yes i did infact pay, i am SOOOOOOOOO not D/L some shitty as lack of quality, the first time i see something, i WILL INFACT want to buy... so

i buy all of the anime i download that doesn't suck... which is why i download it, because i've bought too much shitty anime, and half the time, it isn't even aviable in the US.

As far as my first buy, it was only after i watched it on HBO, and it's still my most uber anime of choice, Ninja Scroll the movie

i LOVE the manga, but the movie was only semi ok, had i seen it before reading the manga, i might have thought differently.

it was pretty bad ass, and done even more to the game's depth then i thought it was going to...
