 anime should stay animated
anyone agree? i find cosplay really wierd as well as anything else that turns anime into real life (the eva movie coming out). a video game is ok, since it's still animated, but when it goes into real life, it just doesn't seem to do the anime/characters justice. i dare say, it's almost like an embarresment.

I agree, to me it just seems like a load of embrassment and self degradation. But that's my thought, and I can't do a thing to change the cosplayers around me.

No, but I saw the Devilman one that used a bunch of no-talent J-pop actors and it was absolutely horrible. |

I dislike cosplay, as well, but you got to respect others opinions and preferences. That's one reason why the Anime forum is great- There's many different shows and everyone will disagree once in a while but you don't flame each others based on what they like. That's just silly.
