Canada's international average is within the top ten in all the major subjects, which includes mathematics, reading (2nd place), writing and science. I always thought the US was prospering pretty dam well. Our system of measurement can be understood. Not to sound repepitive but once agin, it's understood and memorized by 8 year olds every day. I don't have a problem with the metric system or with Canada. I just haven't seen a viable reason to go through all the trouble of switching.
