do a search on aikido. got everything from pressure points and disarms 2 weapons training. just keep in mind that reading about that kind of stuff probably wont do u ne good what so ever in the event that u get in2 a real fight. the only thing that will is extensive training.

Forget about AIkido, the way the training is approached is no good, take some basic self defense, graplling and control in the clinch matters most of the time. ALso adding boxing would be good. As for one on one that is.

the way the training is approached is no good? actually that depends upon the instructor. he said that hes looking 4 some "cool fighting moves", which is why i recommended aikido. its pretty common and 4 "cool fighting moves" itd be okay. if u actually plan on getting in2 nething like that then u have 2 take ur build etc. in2 consideration. if ur small and wirey then u should look at things like jeet kune do. if ur stocky, uechi ryu, wrestling, boxing, and so on. it all depends. self defense classes can be good but they dont offer the discipline and training that comes with sticking 2 specific martial arts.
