Cowboy shooting
any one like to pull out the SA's and have some fun? i shoot a ruger bisley 45LC and the little .22LR/mag ruger revolver. at first i thought the recoil would be a bitch but the bisley is so heavy you don't feel that much. i've riden horses and shot handguns but i don't see how they ever did both at the same time. i've been looking at some lever action carbines and wondering if anyone has some marlin vs. winchester advice.

Re: Cowboy shooting
The Marlin is a better gun in my opinion. It has a stronger lock up and fewer small, moving parts. I had a Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70 and loved it. It spat fire from every oriface forward the reciever. It is nice to know you have a weapon that fires bullets that almost weigh an ounce.
