the steyr BFG. im sure some of you have seen it, heard of it, whatever. but look at the picture comparing a normal sniper bullet to the one this gun uses.........

its an anti tank weapon. but.........yikes ! imagine having to carry the gun and the ammo around. probably a job for a two man team.....

the gun is mean for anti-tank...
they might not use it against u...
anyway, getting hit by this is much better
than getting hit by other gun...
u get stunned and shock to death straight
away, the blood loss and other factor
make your death fast and "painless"
compared to be hit by a 5.56 in the stomach
...
u bleed to death slowly, that is worse...

oh yea, but imagine how bad you would look after that................torn apart pretty much

oh for sure. though if you were hit in the arm or leg, youd die lying next to the limb.......

im not sure about this, but a normal high powered rifle bullet could rip a limb off if it hit it in the right place ?

Yeah im pretty sure a bgm would do just that.

Well i'm sure it depends a lot on caliber and shot placement. I wouldn't discredit the possibility of anything 9MM and over to be able to produce such shattering results. Although i'm sure a tweleve gauge riffled slug would be sufficent.

actually, looking at the picture again, the bullet (dart ? its got fins...) hitting you would be very similar to an ordinary bullet, just probably much faster......

It's called a flechette and is made for penetrating hardened targets. It will not expand in the human body and, in fact, they make nice, neat entry and exit wounds. Far more survivable that a .223 or .308.

Unless of course, you are the sorry sack of shit that gets tagged in the noggin. Ouch.

Do they make a compact model for carry?

From what I heard they were orginally intended to flush out snipers in wooded areas.

They are outlawed here in florida so it doesn't really apply to me =(
