http://www.districorp.ca/English/Advanced%20Technology.htm (go to the bottom) aren't most mosin nagents in 7.62x54R? thats fucked...the stock would cost you more than the gun. they were selling them for 50 at the last gun show i was at.

Yeah i got it for cheap at a Big 5 sporting goods for like 49 bucks, figured it could be upgraded. For hunting its acurated enought i can hit a coffe can at 100 yards with a iron site, so its not a bad gun.
once again im sorry for my bad spelling, now i can finaly get some search results, fewwww.

Chote Machine Tool makes aftermarket stocks for them.
Please do not fire 762x39 ammo out of your mosin negant, It fires 762x54R.

Thats i figured that out yesterday, i was lookin through a cableas magizine and i saw 7.62 x 39 ammo, and i new my gun was 7.62. Later i asked my dad and i found out it was 7.62 x 54. Also since i made this topic i have figured out how to spell the name right,lol.
