Frozen paintballs
Yes!!! it is possible to freeze paintballs in a normal freezer, itl only take about 36 hrs for 500ct. Frozen balls hurt like hell, almost like a golf ball. they bruise where as normal balls just welt. its almost like having rubber bullets, there gonna knock the wind out of anything and break glass and dent cars although i suggest you dont do any of those suggestions, i had to say that to be safe

Re: Frozen paintballs
Normal balls don't bruise? What kind of sissy painball guns do you use? Up here it's not uncomman to have a paintball break skin. And they always bruise, and usually welt.

Re: Frozen paintballs
Frozen paintballs expand, and in some guns will not feed properly.
Don't even try to tell me that you think you're the first person to think of this.

Re: Frozen paintballs
Oh i know im not even close to the first one to think of this. Most people thik that you will just chopp all of your balls and it would be pointless in regular play due to the fact they dont brake.

Re: Frozen paintballs
i was playing paintball at a course one time. and this son asked his father "why do you have to buy paintballs here dad?" and the father said "they don't want anyone bringing frozen paintballs to the course because that might hurt someone." i was going to say "no it's so they can screw us over and make lots of money" but i didn't. but has anyone been to a public course and have played with someone using frozen paintballs?

Re: Frozen paintballs
If someone brought frozen balls to a course and shot me, I'd put my gun down, and my fists would come up

Re: Frozen paintballs
Paintballs can hurt like fuck. I got shot in the side ofstomach and i had a huge bruise about 6 inches in diameter and in the middle there was this paintball size blood blister ring it seriously hurt i couldn't sit down becuase of the bruising. Also i have a paintball rifle the kind they have at proper pb places with a well big gas canister instead of those tiny ones u put it the gun. This is just and idea im pretty sure it wouldnt work but you could fill them with petrol and stick a light on the end of teh gun so they set on fire as they leave.

Re: Frozen paintballs
Frozen paintballs can work, provided they will load in your gun. Water expands when it freezes, so frozen paintballs tend to swell and are slightly larger than unfrozen ones. If you have a close ball and bore match between your gun and unfrozen paintballs chances are the frozen ones won't load right. Thus, you need to either swap out a larger barrel or invest in smaller paint for freezer duty. In either event, using frozen paintballs for weapons against people is childish and cowardly and only serves to give the legitimate sport of paintball a bad name.

Re: Frozen paintballs
Modern Gobstoppers are far too small. Paintballs are .68x caliber, and Gobstoppers are more like .50 or .48.

Re: Frozen paintballs
That's what you get for playing at 500 FPS. You do realize that the 300 FPS limit is set for a reason, don't you?
