Hmmm. You know, I saw a file on Kurt Saxon's website which has instructions for creating a disposable, single-shot shotgun. While you might prefer a reusable, reloadable shotgun, keep in mind that these 'one hit wonders' are cheap enough that you can make several for the price of one normal shotgun. Several DOZEN if you get most of the materials from dumpsters and junkyards, as I do. Waste not, want not, and other stuff to that effect.

A simple pump action shot gun.
The sping box is unnecessary if you mount the magazine on top. if you do that though cut a slot at the front allowing the barrel to rotate right more than 90 degrees to eject the spent cartridge. I have never tested this design so if you go through with it use the highest guage steel you can get your hands on and rig it with rope so you can fire it from a safe location to test it.
