Re: how do u throw knives?
Acually the weight and balance of the knife doesn't really matter, all you really have to do is to get the snap of your wrist right when you throw it. So all you really have to do is practice practice practice. I can't explain how you snap your wrist really just let it roll off your index finger and pull back your wrist when the time is right

Re: how do u throw knives?
people sell lots of knives and call them throwing knives well first you need the right knives pakistani knives are cheap and my favourite their blades are small but the handles bigger you hold it at the tip of the handle for shart range and at the back for extreme range don't over do the range and never hold at the handle and first peck into the lawn before practicing on a real target ------------------

Re: how do u throw knives?
I find it's best if you do not use your wrist at all. Move your arm forwards in a smooth motion and let go when you feel comfortable doing so. The main thing to remember is that this isn't a baseball- You aren't trying to throw it as hard as you can, but as accurately as you can. Once you get a feel for the spin of the knife, try to spin it so the point is forward when it reaches the target.

Re: how do u throw knives?
I had a few Packastani throwing knives. I had to have $30 worth of work done on them before they were usable, and then one bent un-usably after I had only used it for 4 or 5 practices.
My favorite knives are On-Target and Hibben.

Re: how do u throw knives?
Uh, the knife -does- have something to do with how well you'll be able to throw it. I prefer small, double-edged daggers for throwing. Weight of the knife also has some effect, some knives that are designed for throwing have weights in the blades so that when you throw them, they'll spin faster, and have greater chances of hitting blade-first.
