.22 cal bullets
Does anyone know what the material in the .22 cal. shell is.. that is used as the primer? it is a greenish yellow, very sencitive to shock and heat.
Any info would be great..

Is there any means of creating that chemical that A person with non laboratory inventory or tools can follow and what happened to murcury fulminate. Old precusion caps, circa 1850 used powder right?

don't have a clue on how to manufacture it .mercury fulminate is still in use but had some of a fallingout because it is a little more toxic to work with than lead azide the black powder blasting cap is probably the most important thing nobel ever invented up until about 1890 all blasting caps were black powder
