Re: How to Fight
The absolute best way to learn to fight is to find a good teacher and learn from him or her. As far as style goes, outside of "showy" styles like tae kwon do and judo, which are really only useful in a fight if you have other skills to work with, pretty much anything will work if you learn how to do it right.
I'm sure others will give you ideas on styles to learn, so I'll leave it at this.. find a good teacher over a good style if you really want to learn all you can.

Re: How to Fight
kick low, punch high.
what I mean is if you lack experiance then don't try to kick somebody in the chest and don't try to punch somebody in the stomache.
in my earlier years of fighting I was able to avoid what could have become a beating by kicking at the ankle and shin and punching for the face. but I had a hard punch that could easily fuck up anybody that messed with me you on the other hand might be different.
if you are taler, stronger, but have less fighting skills than your opponant it might be a good Idea to go into a clinch meaning grab him. then use your strenth to pull him down but keep your head up if you can get him in a headlock or something you can get in about 3 good punches, or if you can wrestle him to the ground you can get in a several punches or a few good kicks.
if your oponant is fat then use his slowness to your advantage but staying behind him or out of reach, then when ready jump in punch a few times then back up he will quikly run out of evergy and then be at your mercy, but if you ever fight a fat guy remember that if he grabs you your fucked and that if you see him getting tired he could just be faking.
well I can add more later maybe you could be more specific in what your oponant is like tall, small, fat, muscular, or what not.

Re: How to Fight
dude, fight like a hockey player. or a pissed off stoner. just trow the first punch to the face and keep punching. DON"T STOP PUNCHING!!! that will keep him off balenced and confused. knock him down and punch him a few times to make sure that he learned his lesson. a good place to punch is right below the nose 'cause there are lots of nerves there.
or you could always fight cheep. here is how. put your leg behind him nd push him ofer it... when he is down kick really hard to his lower jaw. this will break it and leave him sreaming in pain. good luck!

Re: How to Fight
almost everyone is giving you good tips. its a little harder to learn from a post. watch boxing and you'll learn footwork and punches watch ultimate fighting or NHB (no holds barred) matches and youll learn punching a little kicking and ground fighting bu a really good way to learn is books and experience. get your friends to gether wear gloves if you dont want to bruise each other and fight. use what youve learned from books. what i feel is the easiest and most effective fighting is jeet kune do. the style bruce lee did. he kept it simple for beginners and had advanced for those who want more. i can teach anyone the basics of JKD in about one day and use one day for training then make them a decent fighter. if you dont want to get bruce lees books then do one of the following:
*when the person is in your face uppercut their chin with a punch or open palm. this will 1 break there jaw or 2stun them or 3 make them bite their tongue off.
*keep your hands by your side then move your hand to their balls with fingers pointed down. (they dont usually see this coming thus they cant prevent it.) im sure you know how a kick to the nuts feels like so the effect is obvious.
*come up with a rear choke when they are seated or distracted. or pull their hair back and do a chop to their neck or throat extreme pain or death is possible. if they dont have hair grab their forehead
Ok theres too much to write so if you have more specific questions email me or post.

Re: How to Fight
1. ALWAYS keep your eyes on their eyes, never look away... 2. if possible strike withn the elbows and kneeees, but to do this you ill be forced to close in, which is a bad idea... 3. for a quick drop, wait till they move at you, then fall yo your back and kick upward as hard as you fucking can into their groin, he will never see it coming, but make sure to stand as quick as you can. 4. if he kicks at your waist or higher, block and aim a sweeing kick at the foot on the ground, attcking the lower leg 5. take the opportunity to strech eack day, a little flexability goes a long way 6. most importantly - never stop your punche once the target is hit - follow through and try to get your fist as far into the enemy as possible! 7. finally, NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER
thats all for the moment, hope t works for you!

Re: How to Fight
1. keep loose...so long as you are not tense, you body movements will be more graceful, powerful, and more mobile (agile, fast) 2. when aiming, aim to punch through the enemy or opposing force...doing this will keep you pushing the fist (or other implement) through the victim causing more damage 3. don't be scared to go for cheap shots - groing, eyes, ears, knee caps, back or knees, nose region (sinus), jaw, center of chest 4. don't forget pressure points...things like the neck (put your finger down his neck, grab his collar bone (is that the right one) and yank up with your fingers in a hook formation under the bone...this will definately creat intense pain. also behind the ear lobe...try it on yourself, you don't need much force to almost put numbing pain to that side of the face. pinch their nose with your index and middle finger in a knucle formation, then smash that hand with your other hand...it'll break their cartilage 5. their chest (is it the fulcrum *i don't know my ones) right where the middle of the rib cage ends just above the stomach..if punched hard enough...the person will feel winded and may even lose alot of brething capabilities due to crushed ribs or pinched lungs. 6. kick the crap outa their groin...make it mush and they will squeal like a pig in pain 7.if they swing at you with a straight arm, grab their wrist with the opposite hand (if they swing with right, grab with left and visa-versa), and give a nice upward jab to the elbow area...sure to put that arm outta commison 8. and most importantly a) keep all you joints lose, never over extende, and stay flexible b) don't throw the first punch, or if you can, just walk away knowing that you can drop him like a bag or bricks

Re: How to Fight
i have a few things to say about this... 1. it is much better to learn in person than from a bb. 2. a really good way to start off in a fight (if you dont mind causing a lot of damage, which i dont recommend for most situations) is to kick in a downward motion towards the inside of their knee joint area bending it outwards. people NEVER expect that and it hurts like a bitch. (fuck, man i had been using that in sparring for 14 months and i didnt expect it at all when it was used on me! 3. punch STRAIGHT. a bent wrist, although it can be usefull sometimes, will get broken a HELL of a lot easier.

Re: How to Fight
never attack any one bigger then your self unless you intend to suprise them from behind
if your outnumbered run or crack a bottle (imorovised knife) keeps people one a distance
never defend always attack it's easier
always try to get the first punch and aim for the head the nose eyes or the mouth try not to hit people hard one there front head cause you risk to break your fingers
and hey never chicken out it's just a fight
Lupus (who by the way never won a fight cause i only fight when im drunk) dont fight when your drunk or high cause you will lose

Re: How to Fight
I find that keeping an enemy at arm's length is the best way to deal with someone. If you are on the defensive (the other person started the fight and is attacking you) then you should attempt to stay just inside kicking range. You will notice that before a fight when someone is trying to intimidate you they will get very close and "in your face". Don't let them. This puts you at a disadvantage if you are on the defensive. If you keep the proper distance you can hit them at your leisure, dodge, or block as needed with plenty of time to react.
Wait for them to rush or lunge at you. Chest kick, head kick, sweep. Down they go, and seldom do they get back up.
Of course, you could just pull a katana on them, which is a tactic that has never failed me.

Re: How to Fight
Yeah, that's my tactic too. I take my sword with me everywhere I go. My girlfriend thought I was nuts for doing it, but once, a few weeks ago, I didn't take it with me and almost got jumped by like 15 guys (they think they're "gangstas"). Anyways, she doesn't roll her eyes anymore when she sees me carrying it out to the car with me.

Re: How to Fight
it takes fairly long to learn a fighting style well..boxing is the quickst results, or if you are reasonably co-ordinated kick-boxing... otherwise just go fucken crazy, and have a weapon on hand

Re: How to Fight
first of all, i suggest you learn from a human in person and not on a BB. but, i will give you a few pointers.
1. when punching, step forward with the opp leg. set your foot down as the punch reaches the victem.and pivot your upper body towards opponent.
2. when punching, clech a fist as it nears the victem. if it is done before, you have muscle groups conflicting and your pist can not reach maximum velocity.
3. fight to win, not to look good. don't worry about being called a sissy because you grabbed hair, gouged eyes, and took a bit of flesh in your mouth
4. gouging eyes. extend index finger and middle finger and bend slightly forward. once eye has been poked claw downward.
5. when the fight starts and you think your life is in danger, use a upward open palm strike to the nose. this will most likely end his life if done hard enough.
6. to open palm strike, bend wrist all the way back and curl fingers up . strike with the bottom of the palm.
7."judo chop" strike with the side of the joint that connects your small finger to the palm. straighten hand out all the way when doing so.
8. if oppenet pulls you toward him, use knees and elbows. twist your body and use the torque to create a powerful punch.
9.kick in groin
10. when biting, take only a small chunck of there skin in your mouth. bite as hard as you an and move mouth side to side like a rabid dog.
11. pinch balls , many people see the kick coming and simply move thigh in way of kick but a pinch is not expected and hard to block.
12. always go for sensetive areas unless you have a helluva strong punch.
13. i carry a stun gun with me. it's worth the money. in school i carry a small 2" knife. it's manly to cause pain and not death.
more will come later.

Re: How to Fight
To Toy Machine Do not worry I know how you feel. My advice to you is to try and get lessons in any martial art I advize Jeet kwon do ,the art devized by Bruce Lee. The book is a bit weird with all the zen stuff but when you get down to it you can learn how to out do your apponent. remember the idea of learnig to fight is to never use. This means you can fight but as a last resort
