I came across this topic http://www.totse.com/en/technology/science_technology/167880.html posted by Agent Boris_KGB and it intrigued me. if i am correct, with my halfway through high school chemistry knowledge, couldnt flourine do the job? however, i think that the flourine would do the same thing that the chlorine is currently doing. So maybe Na(2)X(x) just 2 Sodium atoms, bonded with one atom of oxygen, sulfur, or another group 16 element. would those bonds work? any suggestions?
