Default green with questions and RP find?

first i found these water proof matches that have huge dark red strickers on both sides of boxes both probably equl one sq. inch. the package comes w/four boxes...about 2 bucks ...since the boxes are waterproof, no cardboard. the strikers are stuck to this like wierd almost bamboo shavings. in acetone the strickers just feel off in whole pieces from the bamboo stuff. anyone ever seen these and know if its any good to use..asuming its okay....and also, should i bit the strickers to tennie bits before the rxn. or big pieces okay?
THen....drying the iodine crystals...wrapped in wrung out clean-dry (semi) filter in a glass dry in *warm* oven any good. How long do they take..just til flaky? and heres a probably dumb question ...read a remark somewhere drying is faster w/CaCl2, but couldnt find any....moth balls have a structue of Benzene with Cl2 attached...any chemists out there know if moth balls in a 'mock CaCl2 dry tube could help???? Im sort on a time constrant....72 hours til a final exam and I need to 'hopefully' stay awake all those 72.....THAANKS
