Default Melting Lithium By Freezing?????

How is It Possible To Melt Lithium By Getting It Cold Enough While in Lantern Fuel??? Is'nt It True That Lthium Melt At Approx. 140 Celcius??? How Then Would It Be Possible To Melt By Freezing??? The Post on Making Anhydrous Meth Refers To Melting The Lithium By Getting It Cold Enough With Anhydrous Ammonia or Freeon, Which Does Not Make Sense??? Is It That The Author Is Refering To A Different Reaction other Than Melting?? Anyone With Relavent Info Please Reply

the lith strips are not in the colemans while the anhydrous is melting them...i'm sure thats a typo by the author. Maybe melting is the wrong word, maybe *dissolves* the lith would better explain the process, either way thats what you do, and I dont care what anyone else here says, R-12, and R-12 ONLY, works just the same, does that answer questions.

p.s. personal email should NEVER be used for this shit pal

Well onepercnt First of all sorry about the e-mail I Was'nt Sure When You Would Reply. Are You Saying That The Lith Strips Are Removed From The Fuel And Put In A Cooler By Themselves Before Exposing To The Ammonia or Freeon???? Also If Its Only A matter of Getting Them cold enough to dissolve then Why would'nt liquid Helium Work? It gets A hell of a lot colder Than Freeon??

chucklez, i honestly cant tell you no or yes, all that I know is what worked for me when i did it, maybe it would work. You could try it and you would only be out about 9bucks for the batteries. Once again, as the recipe says, i dont know why things do what so much, but i know what works

Holy shit I blow up the processor(1600xp) in my computer and I'm gone for not even a day and see what happens.

First read the thread on freon and making meth. I'll bring it to the top. It is used as an extraction solvent only it cannot be used in the birch. Anhydrous ammonia or mwethylamine. The lithium/sodium whatever disolves in the cryogenic liquid liberating free electrons all ready to reduce whatever you want, the solution is a very pretty blue apparantly. No freon, no colemans except to store your lithium. Dissolves not melts.
