Suggested reading.
I have been looking to build a library of refrence and knowledge for Chemical information.
I've got some books and knowledge, but i thought i'd come ask here, i also thought it might help a few newbees get started. Any suggested reading?

The Merck Index (NOT the Merck Manual)-Every chemist should own this, I read mine for fun.
CRC chemical handbook
Vogel's practical organic chemistry
Any practical laboratory companion
A Practical inorganic synthesis book
TIHKAL and PIHKAL
An inorganic textbook
These are ridiculously useful, it is pertinent that you have access to this kind of stuff if not own one of each. They mae excellent reading. And they can give you ideas, not just how to DO stuff, but also how to Get stuff. Great reading.
